A really cool thing to do is make the game almost pitch black, and armed only with a flash light, making it Slender-ish (Maybe just make it an option, don't make the whole game like this, so a Slender mode button would be cool). You could also put fruit in the game.
Its a great game all in all except 1 thing- if a zombie gets close to your tower in the tower defense jobs, you cannot shoot them, rendering the challenge unbeatable.
A great throwback to retro games, and even though it's quite simple, so was Pacman, or Space Invaders. Any retro fan would LOVE this game (Great job with your popularity on Newgrounds!)

An Unlimited Mode, where you would traverse through an infinite amount of rooms (each room increasing in difficulty), trying to collect as much money as you can of rooms until you die would be awesome.
Ok, go to the options menu and look at where the white lines intersect. + if you saw grey-ish, black-ish dots that disappeared when you focused on them!!!
I found an AWESOME glitch; When you're in Chapter 2, go under those doors where your bird has to pull the door down with the handle, stand under the door with the main protagonist, and then switch to the bird (I'm not actually sure you have to switch to the bird, but that's how I did the glitch). Once the door is completely closed, switch BACK to the protagonist, and you are now on top of the level (Plus, if you fall of the "cliff", you fall endlessly).
