Made it with no booster, no gun, and only the second transmission on the big rig. It takes good fuel conservation and hitting the inclines just right to launch over the zombies but it can be done.
Great concept, but it lacks whatever element it is that would make me want to play it again. Also, "Yankee Doodle" sounds way off. There also seems to be an extra outline in the last room when I played; I got the amulet and still had one outline left, which I found, but it didn't do anything. 4/5
Quick fix for anyone needing money: Find a day when Andy is tanked and you can beat him easily. Beat him when betting $40. Leave the Inn and re-enter and you can play him again at the same drunken level.
"Oh my god, I'm stranded without fuel. That zombie is coming right towards me. Holy crap, he's gonna get me, he's gonna eat me, he's gonna.... die when he walks into the front of my truck... riiiiiiiight."
I can't help but wondering how many rednecks playing this game think it's suddenly a great idea to mount a turbine booster and machine gun on their pickup trucks now...
Seems like there's a lot of glitches:
1.) The $100k achievement does not register.
2.) It doesn't seem to matter sometimes which bar, green or red, that I click on; the boss seems to fly off at random speeds and angles.
3.) The "Anti-Poo" upgrade does nothing; I'm not sure if it's supposed to get rid of the poo or just the effect of poo on the boss, but neither one of these occurs when I buy the upgrade.
4.) The "Evolution" upgrade also appears to do nothing.
Side note: it would be nice to have an "unlimited mode" to see how far I can launch the boss after beating the game.
Good game, but after such a long time to develop a sequel it was far too short. The variety of alternate endings was nice, but a better lead in to the final scene would have been better.
Good game overall. Needs some work though to be great.
Suggestions:
1.) Experience and level should impact abilities in the game, not just score multiplier.
2.) Have the character's look change when upgrading armor and weapons.
3.) Customizable options for the character would be nice (gender, hair color, etc.)
