Wow, great positive reviews over on https://www.newgrounds.com
Love the support over there. This has always meant to be just a fun game. Being a hit game was never the goal. This is practice for me. I would like to become good enough to have a hit game one day. I didn't use any game templates. My son and I like escape games and thought of a story and tried to display it in a fun way. I like on Kongregate how easy it easy to reload a new version. I can change the game from the feedback I get. The interactive experience is so much better when there is support in the form of kind words.
Once again, I hope you all enjoy this game. It's my first one and I'm trying to learn as I go. 22 Apples is being well received on other free game sites, and those commentators have been extremely polite even when including constructive criticism.
It should be obvious from the funny hidden jokes on the Start Menu that I made this game for simple enjoyment while still possessing the challenge of "Find 22 Apples". Unfortunately, I guess some people need it spelled out word for word multiple times. I'm amazed that someone can whine so much about having to add a 2 digit number to a 4 digit number. And, attacks and false accusations against me personally are additional evidence of feeble mindedness. Sad, sad soul.
Have fun everyone and stay safe.
Since uploaded I've noticed sometimes there is a short 1-3 second delay when moving to the next room or area. (So just only click once on those arrows) Any feedback on your experience would be great.
