So after a couple of days on prestige 34 I've unlocked the entire science tree. The way the higher nodes in the tree gives increasingly higher income makes it quite easy to get up there.
I'm done with prestige 28. I have 17 blueprints that needs upgrading that I can't afford. I have a quest to buy 1 boost that I can't afford. Probably need to rescale some things so that you can keep up a bit. I did every single challenge on every single prestige and there just isn't enough discovery points to go around. Oh and epic blueprints are way too rare. I still haven't gotten a single one for Plunder :(
Thank you for your feedback! In a few days I shall be releasing a patch that replaces rare cards with placeable boosts (crit chance and crit amount). It will give you more boosts to buy at their starting baseline rate and generally make the game more strategic rather than relying on RNG so much.
The buy boosts objectives at prestige 19/20 (and others) are incredibly painful, especially if you invested a lot in boosts earlier in the run. 5 boosts are almost 5k discovery points for me which is rough when you have 20k blueprints that you want to get to.
After the changes the lower tier nodes are very weak to the point that you can just ignore them once you get higher, only worth it to get them for the discovery points
Thank you for your feedback - I'm inclined to agree. We had an interesting conversation about it in Discord, and generally I want to look for ways to provide some sort of benefit to having high-income (not just high-level) lower-tier nodes. One idea is to have each node provide a science boost equal to a percentage of its income to all upstream researches (a bit like how it used to work in the initial release). It's definitely an issue I want to address.
This game shows real promise, I really like that the pace is quite a lot slower than in other idle games so that you don't just rush through the early game, every upgrade feels like an accomplishment.
+1 portal coin in 11h 16m 10s. Gems are finite resource, can't advance without portal coins. You seriously need to look over your business model because you're pricing yourself out of the market at this rate.
All the x2 upgrades are for Kreds. Even more of a cashgrab than Idle Hero Defense.
So, is there a level cap on this game as well where you can't progress past a certain point because of limitations in the game engine? in IHD you can't go past wave 4500, is it the same here?
And why are the larger celestium packs more expensive per celestium? I can get 5 200 kred packs instead of 1 1000 kred pack and get 6000 celestium instead of the 4400 from the larger pack
Really fun game, still in beta on kong so understandable that some things still needs work, daily missions would help with the credit crunch (they have them on the mobile platform so shouldn't take long to add).
I'm a bit of a spender though so I sometimes have other issues than those who don't spend. One large issue I've found is that when you buy ships from the special offers you get on certain levels it always replaces the ship in your first bay no matter which ship you have selected at the time of purchase, not being able to choose which ship you lose really really sucks when you have a fully modified ship in that slot and it would still be your 2nd best ship after the purchase. With the long repair periods it really hurts to lose your best ship when getting a new from special offers :(
Hello! The game warns you about 1 slot.
But if you faced this problem, please, contact us support@herocraft.com and provide your nickname in the game + info about the ship you lost.
We will be glad to help you! Thank you!
