@DouglasGrave you're going to have make a video because that doesn't work for me. I get past turn two but by turn three they overwhelm me and either walk over my pikemen or outright destroy my village
Game is totally unplayable today. I lagged out of Conquest and couldn't even get back in after 30 minutes. Couldn't play any of the game modes as i was lagging out of them all. Dev needs some help building a scalable solution before I can give more than 1 star
Another feature suggestion: I want to be able to turn energy into lightning bolts. I suggest that the Energy Shop provide an option to turn energy into lightning bolts. This would be useful because it would let me bank energy that I can't use right away. I feel this would also be keeping with the theme of the game since collecting too many lightning bolts this way would eventually use up all the available spaces on the map, so there is a limit to how much could be banked.
I suggest charging a small amount of gold for this service, maybe one gold coin per point of energy.
Feature requests:
1 - Undo. This can be time limited, so for example, if I want to undo a merge I have a button available for 5 seconds after the merge that will undo it. Empty spaces left behind by the merge should be locked for the purposes of the Undo until the undo expires. With the understanding that you want to make money, I suggest giving 6 free undos per day and charge gems to double it for 7 days.
2 - Group move of objects. I want to be able to move a connected group of the same object by holding SHIFT. Dropping the group will organize it into empty spaces where I want to drop it and will move anything in the way to the closest available spaces. With the understanding that you want to make money, I suggest limiting group moves to 9 objects at a time, and permanently increase this limit for a small gems purchase.
3 - I want to see a count of the connected objects of the same type when I hover my mouse over an object and hold CTRL. This should just be a basic feature.
Not bad, a fun little sim. There's just too many unrealistic problems though.
1 - coal plants should not turn off at the end of the day and then need to spin up again, they should stay at full capacity as long as they have coal. Real coal plants take 3 days to start and almost as long to stop, so they are never stopped unless totally necessary.
2 - Gas plants are very fast to spin up and should be almost instantaneous in this sim.
3 - Solar and wind plants should produce way more power. In the real world these are cheaper than any other energy source.
4 - I have no idea why the oil tank even exists. Gas plants should just auto refill. No one would waste a tile to build an oil tank unless they want to lose. THe game would be more fun without having to manually refill the oil plants.
It's broken for me, trying to play again after completing it the first time just results in the end game screen again and again. All buttons for "restart" or "back to game" just result in the end game screen.
Thanks for the bug report! This appears to only happen in Firefox, no doubt related to their broken Flash game save functionality. I'll see if there's anything I can do about it, but for now I would suggest using other browsers to play Flash games in.
The motion needs to be smoother, I feel like tapping a movement key moves me waaay too far. Bullet hell games need to have very smooth movement, like a high-dps mouse, otherwise they just become frustrating as the lightest tap of the key sends you careening into a bullet a mile away.
I got to the part where he dreams about a house with the key that lights on fire. For the first 10 minutes i wandered back and forth trying to figure out what to do before figuring out you can pick up the fire. Then I couldn't figure out what to do with it. So I watched the walkthrough and realized that part of my game was cut off and I couldn't walk all the way to the right.
2/5 nice idea, poor implementation.
Ok, so, here's what I learned. Keep a moderate pace. Keep your eyes ahead of your character. If the game feels like it will spawn a window below you after it's already to late to jump, or possibly drop a bomb in front of you so that jumping over the bomb will send you over the edge of the building. Fck, i really kind of hate this game.
5/5 though because somehow I played for 40 minutes without realizing it.
short and sweet. my only complaint is i hate when people misuse the term evolution. there's enough confusion among the masses; no need to reinforce the erroneous idea that evolution is somehow 'designed' as these robots are ;)
Lol I love the irony that players are freely sharing their designs in the forums with others to help make the game easier, while the game itself is espousing the idea that protecting one's designs under imaginary IP doctrine is somehow more beneficial to both the individual and the collective as a whole.
