There needs to be a bit more description, like what stats do at the start of the game, when certain things unlock(skills, shop investments, ores, crafting). And the drop rate on Ores is sooooooo low, that my wooden sword and leather armor are far beyond the copper ones I can make.
You should make it so that the more you refresh the shop during a cycle, the more likely you are to get better items. That way it could possibly be worth it to refresh 5-6 times...
Decent game, but after a while it's just a simple matter of clicking through the menus, there is nothing hindering my growth other than the speed I can click through the menus and level up my forest/mine/dungeon. Gaining 3-4 +###E.
When I first started playing, I would give it 4/5, but now it's 1/5. Literally can't even progress through idle.
There is a flaw with the new update. Now that you get MUCH less exp from monsters that are of a lower level than yourself. After AFKing for about 1-2 hours, you will have out-level'd the monster you were on when you went AFK.
There needs to be a way to maintain progress when AFK, instead of it quickly degrading.
just released a second sneakpatch, there is now a tolerance for the exp pelanty of 10% of your level but max 1000.
the currently expected levels per day when buying items attacking the right monsters but not clicking is at 2k-3k (linear).
This results in roughly:
idling 24 hours ~70% efficiency/~1500 levels
offline for 24 hours ~35% efficeny/~800 levels
Sorry for the spam of comments, but there isn't a forum. Also, Evasion Rating doesn't seem to be factored into EHP, and without a stat screen showing the % chance to evade/crit hit/crit damage multiplier, it's hard to gauge what you gain/lose.
the ehp and dps is calcualted based on the monster you are currently fighting, and hit chance is pretty clsoely tied to your level, so gaining evasion or hit chacne while fighting a lv 1 enemy wont make much of a difference. Also, it is no problem for spamming =) though we have a feature suggestion and bug report forum here: https://idle-hero.uservoice.com/forums/248335-feature-suggestions
you can also send reports via the in game contact. Or just post here. We check all three rather frequently
I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm rather disappointed with the fact that it's hard enough to kill stuff your level, much less anything of a higher level. I'm level 325 so far, and it's better for me to kill level 8's in 1 shot at 12 attacks per second, then it is for me to barely manage to kill a level 300.
i have been working on a stat/balance overhaul pretty much all day and this will be addressed aswell
it wont guarante you to be able to kill monsters at your level (the equipment is pretty strong which results in a huge randomness) but killing monsters your level will be much more worth the effort gold and exp wise
My attacks per second randomly dropped from 8 to 5 when I switched from an axe to a sword. But the old sword didn't have any increased attack speed on it. Are there inherrent attack speeds to the weapons?
If you want to play this game, play it at GBEGames. I was a moderator there and was able to get a lot of changes done to the game. It's nothing like it is anywhere else. Free gold weekly, more PvP, 40X EXP rate, it needed the changes, and we got them done. They take a lot of input from the community. They are in a unique position with the game in that they can do pretty much what they want with it.
You should remove the quantity limit. This is one of the most boring idle games I've played. :/ I'm waiting to be able to purchase the unlock to be able to purchase more gold generation.
Silly.
Suddenly hit exp wall at level 48. No quests, need 1.3 million exp.
Events will give maybe 600k over the rest of the day, then I level tomorrow. Make it to close to 50. Somewhere around 51/52, I need a couple million exp, no quests, no events. 100 exp per mob kill, 30k exp per dungeon.....no thanks.
The game was fun, and the progression was quick, and kind of bizarre, grind a level, quest a level, grind a level, quest a level.
Now that I've hit the exp wall, and I have to spend several days grinding the same content just for a couple levels. It's lost it's joy. It's a sad thing to see happen to a game.
I'd say it's better than Realm of the Mad God. It's rather fun if you just stick it out. I have not spent any cash on it and am doing fine. And there's not a single thing that I've seen where I thought "I wish I had some $ to spend on that"
nice idea. :)
