I think all the people talking about the graphics are just nitpicking. This puzzle concept would still have been just as good if the man was just a rolling ball or something similar. The puzzles are well-designed and the sound and music are relatively non-intrusive. One of the key elements I think you need to keep going forwards is the ability to test the water with a move to see the consequence without fully committing to it, that is definitely my favourite feature.
5 Stars. Well deserved too.
Thanks! Regarding "testing the waters," I'm actually making it so that in the next game, you have to commit to your moves. This is to make the controls less finicky. But, there will be an undo option, so you can test the waters that way.
This made me happy. And reminded me of the manga/anime Sankarea where a girl he likes turns into a Zombie. But they still love each other anyway.
YAAAAAY
For those having issues with the mouse disappearing in the game screen, click the game screen and then use the navigation buttons to select New Game. The actual gameplay works like Minecraft where you can't mouse out of the game as it tracks your mouse movement, you need to hit escape to get your mouse back :P
All these people complaining about finding the last boss:
Head in one direction and keep going. The difficulty of bubbles increases the further away you get from your spawn bubble, each bubble to the side of the direction you've just headed in is the same, the one in front is harder. This continues all the way to the final boss which is only about 20 bubbles or so away.
Hard enough to not be challenging, easy enough to not be annoying.
There's very few games that I feel the need to comment on, but this was special indeed. When you actually figure out the puzzles, everything suddenly makes sense and you feel stupid for not realizing it before.
Brilliant game
...This reminds me vaguely of an old Megadrive game called Prince Talmit's Adventure... The game didn't make sense at all, the map system was bollocks and it was confusing as shit to play. But there were interlude levels where you could run and catch falling stars for no apparent reason...
...I raged. I raged so ridiculously hard. I ate the burger by accident and ended up "Feeling sick"... And I said 1 thing wrong to her. AND NOW I HAVE TO START FROM LEVEL 1 D<
I am not saying that this game is at all to be considered better than any other game, as is the Socialist way, but I am showing a preference towards this one currently. For the motherland!
Also the reason the Buccaneer quest is classed as "Easy" is because in order to lower your rep you can: 1. Kill Enforcers. 2. Attack friendly mercenaries. 3. Rob people on the road. 4. Take the abandoned crates. Whereas in order to gain rep you can only Kill Buccaneers and Help people on the road... Other than that you've just gotta avoid lowering your rep by ignoring mercenaries, allowing enforcers to search you and leaving the abandoned crates...
Just for everybody who gets angry when they find an ending and they think the game is over; Wait for the credits to scroll, then you'll be given the option to go to the main menu and then you can continue playing :D
After grinding between 2 castles (I got a good rate on Coal in one and on Timber in the other) to get enough to spend on higher stuff (then got a good rate on Silver in one and Bronze in the other) until I got to 40k where I max'd out my party and my vessel and BAM i can't be stopped by city or party. And now I buy/sell diamonds
This is a badge of the day made for those who have already spent much time on this game... and a way to get people to play and notice this amazing game :D I love it. And I rarely enjoy games which require my use of WASD AND a mouse when i'm using my laptop
