Done with 30 monkeys (3 long ranged, all piering, one tack and one super. Just good positioning. It is foolish to say that upgrades are usless, its just pure math. On monkey (250) kill one baloon, and one upgraded monkey (250 + 210) kill two (same as two monkeys, which are more expensive) with less space used.
Level 8 is hard one, but not impossible. I passed it after 4-5 tries or so. Its impossible though withot some innovating ideas (I mean not realistic) like building lots of mines and disabling 'em. Bugs are driving me mad, lags make night completely uncontrolable which makes game more difficult. I don't like also THAT loads of green creets. I would love some less, maybe more powerful, definitely less chaotic. Although there are many issues, I love the concept, it's really oldschool-like game :) I'm looking forward for the continuation, this game have a great potential, and can be a perfect one. Imagine multiplayer for example..
You couldn't have heard about "ropejutsu". It my and my brother's own concept :) I think using two ropes would make game easier, not harder at all. I think the best concept for controlling two of them is the same solution as used in "Portal - the flash version". I would also love if the rope WAS affected by player's velocity, as you posted. I think this ideas will allow to make some really nice and complicated acrobatics. About color theme: what about white, ascetic one?
I would love if there was a possibility to fire up more than one string. It reminds me "ropejutsu" playing Liero when i was so young ;) Nice game anyway althought not nice enough for a five. Also it's true it became boring in time. I think bonuses its not enough to make it really attractive. Maybe more goals? I would like also some brighter colors, i think these doesn't fit. Maybe it's not the colors, all this dark aura doesn't fit ;)
