This was possibly the fastest medium badge for me. I completed much of the levels on first try, including level 25. And not one except level 24 cost me more than half a minute.
OK, this will sound like one of the lamest noob questions ever, but where is survival mode? I've just completed the story, and can't find it anywhere...
OK, I understand it's a harsh game for dibbles with all this sacrifice thing and stuff. But if the way is already clear, please don't kill any remaining dibbles automatically as soon as the pharaoh reaches home...
Great concept, but unfortunately horrible implementation. I started playing in IE, and finished two countries. Then I had to close my browser, and now the game won't load anymore. I can start it in Chrome but it doesn't find any save files there. The game is ridiculously slow even on fastest speed. Nights are way too long and completely useless. The game uses horrible amount of CPU memory, yet it comes virtually unplayable when there are 200-300 people on screen. AI is horrible, janitors and electricians run around like idiots. Visitors tend to get struck randomly forever. Texts are too small and unreadable. Not to mention the huge amount of grammatical errors. Tasks are sometimes ambiguous. I spent at least two hours in Russia waiting for Lady Gogo. I had like 3-4 of everything, all of them completely upgraded, every extra purchased, a ten-storey mall, constantly 88%-89% popularity, millions of cash, and nothing happened...
The concept is great, but I don't really like this game mainly because of the questions. It features only a few dozen games which aren't even among the best of their genres. Even I haven't played most of them, and I'm at level 52 on Kongregate so I assume I've played lots of flash games already. Finally some questions are simply bad. For example: how many types of ships are in Moby Dick 2? I played both Moby Dick games a lot, but is there anybody who tried counting the number of ship types during all that fast-paced action? As you can see I have problems with the questions only. I'm eager to see an expansion with more games and better questions. ;)
Thank you very much for the review. I'll definitely make the sequel and will do my best to make it better. Regarding the question abou Moby Dick 2, of course, my intention was not to make the players count the ships. But at the start of the MD2 game the in-game encyclopedia is available where all the ships are listed. So, it's kinda observancy question.
