@gqusaf You defeat the boss by dropping the hat rack on it. (fall on top of the boss while having the hat on the rack, and switch while airborne). Then just throw the hat on it and switch, to make the level portal appear.
@bhoothnath It's always been this way. Members get the stuffs because they actually pay for it. Free players should be happy they are able to continue playing at all.
@essenceend The account recovery is already simple enough. With a registered email you can get back your account quickly. Should you want more security, Jagex Account Guardian has more questions to make your account more secure and more easily reclaimable.
It's not the length of the comment that counts. It's about: 1) People suggesting things that have been suggested countless times 2) Suggestions that are poorly considered through 3) Anything related to Runescape needing badges 4) Gibberish, scam encouriging, links no one gives a shit about, or have a dedicated forum thread 5) Poor grammar 6) And anything else that suggests that you are somewhat retarted and didn't put much thought behind your comment.
It doesn't get press just because of the players who moved on, but high level veterans as well. With a good insight of the content, mechanics and gameplay in general, you can see the flaws a lot better, and in the last few years RS recieved quite many debatable updates.
If it's so important to play in a bigger window, you could play on runescape.com, or download the client and extend it to maximum window size. It's really not that far away from fullscreen.
@Suicider Of course they want you to pay. That's what they do for a living afterall. Also you get a discount if you buy 3-6-12 months of membership. BTW it's more like 10% and 90% IMO.
Most of the wildy&free trade lovers are pkers and RWT players. Both have a high tendency of having multiple accounts. It's really not that hard to increase the count that way.
@Mako Developing new graphics is sure expensive, but Jagex isn't a small company you know. They have over 400 employees and make over 1m pounds profit monthly.
Jagex don't have to be treated like it's a small company, because it's not. Jagex has over 400 employees and makes more than 35 million pounds from subscription fees (14m profit).
So enough with these "Jagex tries it's best" "Jagex put a lot of effort into it" stuffs. Of course they do, that's their job and are pretty awesome at it.
@Codysfriend Please use punctuations in a comment. It's hard to understand what are you trying to say without them.
@Owenfrancis There is forum for runescape on the main page: http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws
@JagEXCompany The worst try for scamming so far. Scammers FTL
No one should ever consider believing in such posts. Jagex always states: They never ask for password or username details, especailly not via email. Also membership isn't bound to combat levels, you can get it whenever you decide to pay through www.Runescape.com, under Account->Upgrade account.
