If it is Middle Earth inspired shouldn't angel be named Maiar, since corupted ones are Balrogs?
Perfect score doesn't make sense kill more, in Gemcraft score was tied up with time limit. Speed up and pause would be nice. Maybe add hidden zones to unlock.
Mouse control would be better than arrows. Maybe add different hitting power to different color balls, like red can hit you for half a screen, yellow 1/4, blue only 10%.
