Definitely an interesting experiment in storytelling if nothing else; nicely done. :-)

Might I say that this game is EXTREMEY addicting, and that you are evil for having made it so? XD I've already spent a few hours playing it without realizing the time.

Developer response from okaybmd

No, we're not evil :D If you wish, we can make it stop working after 2 hours of playing, and then you can come back the next day :) The games auto-saves when you go to the ship, so you can stop anytime. Don't try to finish it in one day if you have any other tasks!

I'm actually quite disappointed in this game. Not only is it a rehashing of what the previous game was like, but it's actually got less content. The other game assured that you could use what you wanted to the effect you wanted; here it's just arranging things so that you fire the most guns you can to destroy everything in front of and around you, and you don't even get the luxury of moving around as you do. This feels like a prequel game to the previous, and not because of the story, but by how limited the game feels overall. This is seriously a downgrade compared to the previous one.

My advice would be to add a lot more content to this; make it so that you could move around more, possibly upgrade, and to have a better hit detection system. Otherwise it's pretty mediocre.

I don't think that the Unity engine was quite needed for this...

Personally, I enjoyed the game; what I found increadibly annoying and irritating though was when I got the invici-armor and when everything went to hell...because that's what happened to the controls with me. Seriously, half the time my jumps would be wildly off course, would happen halfway down my first jump, or not happen at all, and that's not to speak of whenever my character would decide to fall down a long shaft thanks to not interpretting my momentary tap left into an all out button mash. ...but that might be from the computer I'm using. Over all, a solid 4.5.

*sighes* And another thing...the huge hyper beam thing? Yeah...it lags the game like hell. Any time I have it I either stay still or zip from size to side, missing as much loot as I do get.

I'd also like to mention that many times the game doesn't seem to lag as much as slow down on purpose; is this intended, liuke bullet time? If it is...it doesn't endear itself to me at all.

I know others have said this a lot, but I'll say it too; LAG! It's ridiculous, it's like my comp has suddenly siezed in one perfect portion. Not that the game is bad...but the lag DOES make for a lot of dying that lets any nostalgia factor in the game's functions die.

One problem I've found is that, in the ESC menu, half the time the options don't work when you click on them; the music simply mutes and climbs back up again. It's a real hassle.

There's one problem that I keep finding no matter what I'm doing with this game; the controls randomly freeze up. If I'm heading right, I'll keep heading right. If I'm standing still, then the enemies wale on me while I stand there, dumbly. It only happens for a couple of seconds, but that's a bit break in control, isn't it?! Other than that, the game's okay, but it's a little too simple, and random.

Okay, first foremost, I really enjoy this game. It has a lot of replayability, interesting art and diverse card effects. However, there are a few things I must bring up. For starters, what do black holes do in this game? Second, why does my starting energy input (the number of energies you get without playing anything) sometimes start at 2, while at others it's 1? And thirdly, why is there an achievement that you can't utilize at all without completely restarting the game on the site this was originally on? To me...that's just not cool.

To me, the game was fun. Not Great, persay, but fun. One thing I noticed, though, was the lack of need to level up your guys all the way to level 99. To me, they stopped getting stronger around level 7, sadly. I'd have liked a more progressive appearance/attack change the higher you went, but whatever, it was fun as it was.

The game, while short, is fairly nice, and the graphics for the attacks are neat to watch too. I agree, though, that this game could do with some expanding - perhaps a survival mode? Upgrades? Who knows - there's a lot out there that could be added to this...of course, it all stands up to one question - what could be added without detracting from value?
