Love the game. There's a bug with the parasitefish, though, if you can time eating right you can level up with 1 food item apiece, because it's fairly easy for you to get the parasite to eat a segment right as you've reached the next level. I don't like how the parasite is permanent though.
The enemies shoot very fast and the bullets are very fast, it has an 'avoider' element almost moreso than a 'shooter' element. Also, a damage upgrade would be nice, maybe make like different weapons, like a laser or something, with different shapes, it would give it a less mindless feel. Possibly raise upgrade costs as you progress through the levels. I like the destroyer boss. 5/5. :3
