Great game! Looks fantastic. Shorter than I anticipated tho.
One good glitch. After the first big battle with Network, if you get the god sword and h2h combat upgrade then try to restart the game, you *might* get to play network over again even with your new weapons! Keep trying tho it wasnt consistent. I can usually get about 1000 points with Network and use those at the smith to buy upgrades. You need the power jump boost to get teleport in section 4. I also got the "mana"? reg boost so I could use heal at the end. Generally the bosses walk towards you and gives you enough time to heal yourself once. Just be sure to dodge whatever they throw in the meantime. In the end, I maxed out speed and damage.
to get past the boss, shoot it from a distance where it won't shoot you or send ships. It may take a while but it's better than getting blown up. Also take down all the surrounding ships from the other minor planets first so you don't have that annoyance and to get their powerups.
A few tips for playing
In the beginning, try to infect gunners as that will get them out of the way from shooting your guys. Infect fat guys since when they explode they release extra virus.
Try to use Tank towards the end of a city to destroy stray runners. Get him in the Middle East and you can always bomb what looks like Rambo.
Save MJ, from Mexico, for either dealing with large groups of gunners, stray runners, or to gain extra time at the end of the destruction of a city to gain extra time to collect money.
My priority of investment: speed, infection, defense, some extra life at the beginning but not much, and attack for higher levels.
I always have trouble getting Venom (NY in America) since he spits webs and freezes anything including heroes. I often just bomb him to death.
Oh and I play the cities where I can get the most reward at the beginning not just the ones I can destroy.
That game was awesome. I got stuck on 11 for a while but finally figured it out after a bit. Once you can figure out 11, 12 is not that hard.
Here's how you do 11.
F2: Bulb, Forward, Bu, For, B, F, B, F.
F1: F2, F2, Turn L, Jump, Turn L, F2, F2, Turn R.
In the main action, F1, Jump, Right
Repeat this.
Boring! I should have at least gotten a badge for this. 2/5.
I think more thinking outside of the box was using the cake mix and flour to turn the water into a substance you could cross. A shorter and lamer version of the Monkey Island series.
It was a fine sequel but a bit disappointing as well. If there was a bow and arrow, I never saw it and didn't really desire to play it again to find out. Also I expected a big epic battle once you reached Union City, like a race for the docks kind of thing. Plus once I was at the city close to the end, I could end the game anytime I wanted to travel to the City. Traps did not do a whole lot for me but a good idea anyway. 3/5
Easy.
Here's how you do it. I used the undead and sent all my units right up the middle, single file line. Let other units pass you and do not try to fight them. Eventually the computer will try to battle against the line but cannot make units fast enough nor to take on the strong line of units. I used faster spearmen too. Eventually they will fall as long as you have good enough stats for armor and spearmen.
Cannot sell multiple items. And there's no real boss in this game, just making it through the towns. After the first 1/3 or so, it's a breeze with the last two attributes maxed out. It was alright but I was bored after a while.
BTW, the samurai in the cut scenes between battles gots boobs.
Great graphics and music etc. But the game was a bit short for me. And there were not that many weapons armor etc to choose from. I felt like I had tons of money and nothing to do with it.
It was alright. I wish there were some different opponents than always humans. Perhaps some minotaurs or something. And the last level was way too easy. I had more trouble with the gladiator. Overall fun but I wouldn't play it again.
Good use of bow and arrow but never used the changeable armor function. Plus you always knew something better than two armors with high/low stats would pop up after you finish a particular level. Got to be a bit predictable. 4/5
Oh and how did people finish this game in less than 5 minutes? I saw that in where I placed overall.
