Like Antichamber, but cut down to two dimensions. Really well put together, even though it's not as robust or long as its older cousin. However, there were a few puzzles that did have me scratching my head from time to time. Will play again later, once all the solutions have fallen out of my head.
Lots of fun, although the cube at the end may have been a bit overkill. A lot to track and wrap my head around. Lots of fun, and not too short this time!
I played through this once a few months back, and strangely enough when I came back the puzzles felt fresh despite being familiar! The solutions can be a bit cryptic, and so each new solving actually felt like genuine puzzle solving!
Dev, you may have accomplished the impossible and made a replayable puzzle game. Bravo to you!
What might be fun would be expanding this past 6 sided die. Do it with 4? maybe 8 or 10? Hell, try a 20 on for size. You could be playing this game for ages if it had that.
Normally, I really enjoy this game; however, right now, the whole game is shifted about 3 inches to the right and 2 inches down, so a large part of the screen is completely obscured. Anyone know a fix for this? I'm using Firefox, if that's any help.
So, here's a question; is the soundtrack available? I absolutely love "Offbeats (2-X)" and "The Wind Up (3-X)". I would be willing to buy them in a heartbeat!
For a platformer, the controls are too slippery. Very rarely do my jumps land where I want them to, and the tap and hold mechanic is not as fluid as it should be; 1 star for too many awful choices.
To the programmer, I would recommend rethinking the physics of jumping and running. make it easier to control and make jumping less of a guessing game.
One thing I would love to see is an always-accessible Fullscreen button, or a hotkey; it is quite literally impossible to go fullscreen from a server screen, which is EXTREMELY annoying.
If I had more free time, I would play this till the cows came home. This succeeds at being a clever computer game without being overly complex; the puzzles are simple, but effective. 5/5.
One of the problems I found is that the curves can have you pushing your mouse off the table/pad/couch; sometimes you get lucky and don't find too many, and then it throws 4 in a row at you.
The game was so much fun, and I was amazingly intrigued... and then it ended. You must make a sequel, or an addon, or a version for Mobile Phones; I don't care, just make more!
Allow me to pull a quote; Ahem...
"Instead of having a variety of well designed, engaging levels, this game chose the easy route of having five boring, long-ass levels" sorry if I butchered that. It's fun, but extremely difficult. I second the Rage Inducing tag movement!
