Well, I tried to play this game without purchasing diamonds - as the developer CLAIMS is possible. NOPE. I did okay through level two, but the moment you hit level 3... holy cow. It becomes so unbalanced with the players who buy diamonds as to be laughable. Most of the time I am killed in one shot, and I don't even get a turn. It's too bad, if there were some middle ground where I could pay a small amount to have access to a full featured game - say 3-4 bucks, I'd do it. But I'm not going to be extorted by a game developer. See ya.
Also, incredibly lame that because I have no diamonds, suddenly I cannot compete. The dev is LYING when they tell you that you don't need to buy anything. You DO if you want to get anywhere. It's not going to happen. I get that the company wants to make money - fine. Make a balanced game that has limited levels here or something, then give me an option to purchase the game for a one time fee. If I like the game, I'll do that. But I'm not going to let you bleed out money of me with multiple purchases to get ahead. Too bad, because there's a decent game here somewhere.
Agree with the comments about the buy-ups. It's way over the top - I mean backpack spaces? That's ridiculous.
Also, the game is buggy. I'm fighting and damage isn't being assessed to my opponent. On one occasion, I actually beat the guy, but *I* was the one who got stuck with the defeat... uh whut?!
Hard enough to figure things out when the game doesn't even function correctly.
Fun, but I am stuck at Acolyte Runrath and cannot beat him. Plus I have no more healing, no more altars. I can never again meet him at full strength, so I can never beat him. Now what?
Yeah the 26k badge doesn't work for me either. Great game though, so much fun to be barreling at top speed and smashing into things. I hope we get another sequel.
Fun game, but too many things obscure the ship when I am trying to fly, causing me to crash into stuff I cannot see. Sometimes this goes on for a long time. You need to come up with a better way to display these things that does not conflict with gameplay.
5 stars. I am loving this game, to me this is the kind of game that fun RPG should be. The combat system is fun and makes sense and you've got an interesting and fun story. If you made a game like this more involved and larger, I'd pay for it in a second, although I am really enjoying this. Music, graphics, everything.
One thing though - I get confused where the map extends to the next section. I know there's generally an opening, but because it's all shadowed black it's tricky. It would be nice to have some sort of very subtle indication that the map leads off/extends to the next section via a light glow or something. Other than that, rock on.
The whole token thing really is too bad. The game isn't really playable for more than a few minutes without them. I would play this game A LOT if it weren't for that. I'd rate it 5 stars if not for that, instead 1. Huge FAIL. Try again.
Love it, 5 stars. I really like to see innovative ideas with the match 3 puzzle games. I'd love to see this game expanded. I wouldn't say the boss is that hard at all, as long as you know the basics of match-3 strategy. It's less luck than you'd think if you are thinking ahead.
As good a game as this is, all the negative comments are dead on. You've really hamstrung the game and the players with your bid to make money, which in the end will come back to bite you. I'm just getting into the game, but I'm already tired of waiting, and I'm not going to spend loads of money to get stuff. This game needs to be tweaked way down so there's way more opportunity to play and advance, and THEN, only then, might you start to get some money out of your players, and then, ONLY if the price is reasonable.
Fun game. It would be nice if I could control the view of the playfield by simply moving my mouse outside the border - much easier than spacebar/keys. I'm already manipulating the mouse, so it would be much easier. Moving the playfield is the only drag of the game.
