For the pause issue-
Save with the ~ key, then exit to main menu with escape key. Select load game, and select your profile.
It's still pretty obnoxious, but it's a good way to deal with it till it's fixed.
Sorry, but, it's another carbon copy shoot clone. They're getting too common, and don't deserve anything more than a 1/5.
If you added something to REALLY set it apart, it would be gold.

Please stop uploading cheats, this game has no story, and cheats just ruin the fun. Use cheats if you are frusturated out of your mind, but don't use them if you don't need them!

It starts out pretty blah but quickly gets crazier and crazier.
For anybody wiht problems with this weird pause phenomenon, you can save, and load right were you were before the pause.

A good bullet decal Would be apaptive.
Try an entire window shattering if hit, and a simple bullet hole for solid surfaces.
WTF semi auto? Try a 1000 millisecond period between shots, and perhaps a nice reloading noise in between.
