Fantastic demo, cannot wait to play the whole game. Purchased and time to count down the hours till the end of work. Also, people downrating a demo aren't judging it based on the merits of the game, just by some sort of aversion to paying someone for spending a lot of time working on something. Keep up the good work.
Great programming and an excellent game over all. However, wasn't a big fan of the "twist" ending. If left a little more vague and up to player interpretation, it would have made for a richer experience imo. Not every game has to have an edgy ending to be good.
I dislike "luck" games. The game clearly favors the computer when it feels as though you should lose. How else do you explain a computer getting 5 turns more than 2000 a piece?
And the worst Zelda sounds at that Mushrom. Good game concept, but the voices/noises were so annoying I couldn't take playing it past the first enemy. (BTW, I hated Navi...what a jerk that fairy was.)
I'm not sure whether people just crawled out from under a stone, but this game is just fine as far as brightness goes. A VERY excellent game, kinda wish I could give it a 6th star. More of your work should be like this (though I really do like the art for the Cereus Peschy world).
I REALLY like the concept of this game, and I scored it as such. I will probably even play to get all of the medals. HOWEVER, there are a few clear design flaws. First, a challenge starting at 5 life isn't a challenge. There are far too many 1 shot kills your opponent can use (especially when that 9 life heal is excluded). The game essentially become roulette at that point; which is not fun in a card game. Also, the game rarely seems balance, either stacked too heavily for the comp or for myself. Not bad, but I really wanna see some more work done on it (I first played it when there was no art for more than half the cards).
P.S. - 10 health even....5 is far far took little.
Work on your storytelling. Better english would have helped, but the entire story is rather trite. The game itself is sound but it could be much more challenging. You have potential, but right now there are much better versions of games just like this.
