"The Divide" +30 waves, 2x enemies. Norm hp. Start off with 2 barracks, then 1 trading (champion kills everything, have him sit at the entrance to the left fork, kill the enemies, then teleport to the bottom of the right fork and mop up the rest, rinse/repeat). 1 guard tower at the corner just to the right of the entrance, and closest to the right fork. Follow up with 3x Battle Standard Towers next to the Guard Tower. Upgrade everything as needed. Once all your towers have hit their first subupgrade (Upgrade the guard tower to a shock tower), start building Guard towers next to your shock tower. Maybe toss a couple damage/range towers nearby. Finished the map with 9 guard towers (didn't upgrade them, and I don't recall exactly how many), a shock/bomb tower, 3 battle standard towers (upgraded), 2 scout towers (upgraded), 2 focus towers(upgraded), and of course the 2 barracks and trading post I started with(all 3 upgraded). Dealt around 470k damage.
Went adventuring until I had about three pages worth of items and payed my debt down a few grand. Then invested in the shop (thats where all the real money is). A few days of shopkeeping netted me enough gold to keep my shop open all day, which really rakes in the coin. Didn't take much more work to pay off the rest of the debt. As for combat, best items are regen items. I've got +9 regen right now and rarely take damage. Now I can just farm treasure like mad and sell it in the shop for stacks of cash.
Seems to me that the description on the money towers is completely incorrect. They only increase money per second by THREE, not FIVE. Each subsequent upgrade also only increases MPS by an additional THREE, instead of 15 and whatever the third tier upgrade is.
F*ck the double jumping bullsh!t. At least give an option to turn that crap off. Also, on frustrating games like these, put R as restart. One click instead of three makes a difference when you die hundreds of times.
Great game. It'd be nice if you added a confirmation button on the 'Quit', or atleast moved it away from the fast forward button, especially if we only have three lives...
Useful exploit: Wait until you can unlock a floor AND build your entire path on that floor (you have to guesstimate). Then, unlock the floor and create your path. Right after you're done, REFRESH. You'll be back to before you unlocked the floor. Unlock it again, and your entire path is already there! Save all the path $$$. +1 to keep alive.
Although.... I'm having a very difficult time controlling my character. He keeps running off in directions I don't want him to go, no matter whether I'm using ctrl or space to punch.... not sure what the problem is. Anyone else having this difficulty?
If you can't get your combo to stop but you want to (like if one turtle just keeps bouncing up and down), press S to go to the store. It should end your combo.
@TheLostAngel press X while under the first golden thing, then right after you hit the first golden thing, press UP so that you hit the second golden thing while still in flight.
Fun game, but it has its bugs. Was about halfway through the Quartermaster random map when the game froze up on me. Couldn't build, timer wouldn't run, etc. Its a shame. I thought I was going to win.
The Calender thing leads to a bug in and of itself :P If you click the calender rapidly, enemy troops won't move at all. You can just click it rapidly while cannons take out the entire enemy army.
