This is a good example of how a simple idea can be made into a game that is complex, challenging and fun. Deep strategy is required to succeed at the higher levels of the game, but that's what makes it a good puzzle game. This game is really addictive and well thought out. 5/5
I have a quite interesting solution to Oil of Vitriol: 28 symbols, 58 cycles.

Here's my Baron Wheel - turns out I didn't actually save the previous one, and so I lost it. But I've got another one that's pretty much the same - 37 symbols, 114 cycles.

I've just made a nice and minimalist Elixir of Youth. Uses just 39 symbols and only one atom spawn, however it takes 139 cycles. Sometimes it'll moan that the machine's jammed when it's not though.

ignore my previous comment, here is the slightly modified Vertigris - 48 symbols, 64 cycles

I'll post my Vertigris solution, which I think is pretty impressive.
