me before i started playing: ^v^ ooo(This will be easy...)
me after playing a bit: '_' ooo(I can still do it... I'm just a bit rusty...)
me after a bit more: - o - ooo(I've got six more days... I'm tired... what's for tea tonight?...)
me after a couple of hours: *n* ooo(ZOMFG THIS GAME IS SUPA HARD)
me now after nearly pulling my hair out (but that would hurt), shouting and screaming (but that would hurt), going into Hulk mode (but that would hurt), making plans to steal the card (but that would hurt), and wrecking my eyes (but that would hurt): @~@ ooo(THIS SUX. I could be um... err... actually there's nothing else I could be doing... time to play for nothing... ooh I can rate it for a point YAY!!!)
the tag team element needs improving - the other guy helps you a bit, then gets lost, comes back a bit, goes away, etc... that is not proper tag team. its one guy does all the work and gets fragged by alien leet gun and the other lazes and plays games like this lol.
... think about it. you can only have eight units. if you kill all eight enemy units then you've won. so at any point, the most enemy units that can be dead is 7. it's unlikely (but possible) that one unit will hog all the kills. this means, that most (but not all) of the time, a unit will not have more than about four kills.
i think veteran effect is fair.
there are at most eight enemy units. this means up to 7x veteran effect (8x would mean no more enemies). Now one unit will probably not get all kills. and not all enemy armies have eight people. so that means most of the time, you don't see a unit with more than four kills.
with the tactic of seven knights and a mage, and drawing the enemy out into the middle of the battlefield, keep the mage on high ground until he gets a kill or few. then if you want take him off to get those enemies who run to the sides
my army is similar to gilmann's, but I hold my army back and let the enemy come forward and get within mage's range. I use the knights to hold the enemy back, annd the mage wreaks havoc on the enemy
some tactics: kill clerics quick. use mage well - put him on the high ground, and wait. draw the enemy in and use mage on non-knight, or use a knight to force enemy knight to use shield block, then unleash havoc with lightning. get behind enemies - especially knights, as they have shield block. the edge is your friend.
enemy ships hav different behaviour. some go straight for you, some dont, some dont move. some have armor. some spawn weird burger shaped ships. some get faster. some split upon death. with experience you learn which ships are greater threat. generally the faster ones, the armored ones, the ones which go for you are greater threat to you.
zunder is much better ship. 5/5
