Fun game! Kindof like an old-school arcade game - great action and upgrades but all go away when you die. It would add a lot to replayability if you could add a meta-game - like upgrade points you earn through playing that carry over to future games or an achievement system which gives you bonuses.
The game looks nice but is ultimately unsatisfying very quickly. Lots of upgrades don't really DO anything. Population and food are basically worthless. Upgrading ship health is almost meaningless since it caps based on your building level and only grows linearly while your enemies grow exponentially, and upgrades to your island have almost no impact on your RPG component. Although the game looks nice, it needs a lot of balancing and integration/complexity to make it worth a long-term play.
Wow - played for 2 days and was actually having some fun. Then my browser crashed and no autosave found. Serious game flaw and I will not be playing again. Downgraded rating to 2/5 stars (the second star was only because it was kindof fun until it lost my save).
hmmm, so much waiting, so little disappointment... Gold machine costs hundreds and doesn't start paying back until WAAYYY late in the game (you don't break even until after you've 'won'), Dragon-slaying storyline similarly doesn't reap rewards until way after game has been 'won' and even then it may be less than what you invested in it... Most yes/no rewards are either insignificant (cats, mouse, little kid, old lady). Wish I hadn't spent that much time on this game...
Spellstone ads are totally broken. No rewards given. All other ads seem to work fine but if I hit a spellstone ad (which seems to happen 2/3 times) I have to forfeit my chance for a reward :-( The whole ad system here is totally flawed. It took a fun game, replicated the core elements, and ruined the fun...
hmmm, it was like a book that was 1 page long that you could only read 1 sentence at a time by clicking. Couple of interesting puzzles, but otherwise really slow. I was badge hunting and happy when I discovered that PageDown puts the text into super-speed!
Hi there tfunny1, are you using Firefox? In such case, could you try switching to Chrome? Many players reported very slow loadings on that browser. Hope this helps and hope to see you soon playing the game!
Interesting concept, but way too much clicking through planets. Also, there needs to be some kind of higher-level goal - simply clicking through thousands of planets loses excitement after awhile...
Commander, due to an error ... of course not mine ... the super duper ultra fast progression mode was turned on. I fixed that error. But please do not asked how many Scientist lost their lives - not that it matters. Sincerely Corporal Tutnix.
Super buggy so far. Often click on an offer and can't get out of it without reloading the page. When changing your squad it's hard to see your last card and there is no scroll. Needs a lot of work...
Ugh, bad enough when this super-laggy game got badges, but to make it badge of the day... not cool. Badge of the day should only go to games that do not cripple your computer...
Played game before badges, and now I can't get them, or even play the game... All I get is a message saying "Uh oh! Looks like something went wrong with the game! Please reload." No matter how many times I reload it doesn't change. Game must've broken with your updates. Thanks for nothing...
Thank you so much for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
