Very well-produced. The story was sufficiently interesting, with a fairly novel setting, for me to want to find out what happens next, but needs a little work when it comes to the pacing. I second AlienLance's comments though, especially the one about DEM needing to move faster. The only way to make any real progress is to hop like a retarded bunny. Also

@thorax7: if ships can selectively attack, that defeats the point of cards like Spark and other retaliatory ships. If you lack energy in your initial draw, put more of them in. And you CAN already edit the card decks.

Goddamnit, I'm having problems killing the double white monoliths blocking the right orb pedestals in the Volcano stage. Everytime I get one of them to 1/4 HP (with Airstrike/Tetra Drill) the other heals it to full. Someone help?

Great game, but like marcus9872 pointed out, the ability to either swap out or forsake the current hero would be good, as that would definitely have saved me a couple of wasted lives. Also, the Thief's Shuriken help is bugged (shows Amulet instead of Shuriken). Other than that, great replayability, great depth, great game. 5/5

@onelastwonder: While I agree that this is one of the best games I've played and that it needs a sequel, I disagree about the direction you've suggested. Adding RPG elements and other weapon types- generally a good idea in many other games- seems to detract from the ingenious simplicity that makes this game one of the best. There's no pretence at anything "deeper" to the game other than 'take sword kill stuff': the depth comes purely from the gameplay, and that's beautiful.

Very innovative, one of the most original games I've played this year. The scratching sounds and the use of the mousewheel added significantly to the immersion, though what exactly I was immersed in is still questionable. 5/5

I really wanted to like this game because of the aesthetics, but there's just too much grinding required early game. It takes way too long to get your first rocket, and after that it's another long, unfun stretch to get your second and third rocket before you can finally break the 500 barrier. 2/5

Very innovative game with clean, crisp graphics and smooth gameplay, but should be longer. Nonetheless, if this is a proof of concept, it's fantastic. 4/5

Great innovative game that blends two games I really love, but somehow manages to make the blended result greater than the sum of its part. 5/5

Fun take on the conventional tower/hero defence, I liked the additional management options and loved the art style. 5/5

Interesting concept and message, kinda arthouse but there it is. 4/5 because it's great that there still exists people who aren't afraid to experiment with games as a media platform.

Very innovative game of a good length; it doesn't outstay its welcome or wear its gimmick thin, which is more than one can say for a lot of commercial games. 5/5

It's innovative and interesting, to say the least; love the noir "Sin City" style art, but I really wish we could forward the cutscenes by clicking or something. The "next/skip" buttons appear only when the cutscene is about to end, which defeats the point?

The concept is interesting, but the circling controls are terrible. Too many colours also makes the new enemies popping up difficult to see: i.e. the "amazing!" notification may mask a new enemy spawning beneath the floating text.
