Although I do agree with beeble2003's assessment of the game, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I especially liked the timed bomb levels because those levels took precision mouse clicking out of the equation. I don't think I've seen that in a physics game before.
this game is the manifestation of the old joke about hitting yourself in the head with a hammer because it feels so good when you stop. Winning this game felt great.
I have a suggestion: could you add an option to reduce the frequency of color bombs, bombs, and wild balls? (Wild balls, LOL) It would allow us to make the game a little more challenging. On some levels I must have gotten 3 or 4 specials in a row and pretty much cleared the stage in 4 seconds.
The same thing that happened to BIG T happened to me. In round 11. I shot a bomb, the bomb didn't go off, and the cannon did not reload the next shot. The game kept telling me to hurry up. I figured it might "shoot" the empty shot and then load up a new one, but it didn't. Like BIG T, I could still move the cannon left and right.
I'm giving this game 1 star because of how it handles the bubble color selection. Once I've clear almost everything off the screen, it keeps giving me colors that I've already cleared. I keep losing because of this.
On the theme of what this game should be called, how about calling it, "Why are you still playing?" Because that's what I'm asking myself after dying about 500 times on level 28.
Have to agree with DragonofLife. I have no incentive to curve the ball because that just makes the game harder for me and--at least in the early levels--it doesn't get me anything I need.
I would like to be able to adjust the power level in increments of 1 rather than increments of 3. Trying to use the slider just screwed with my angle, but using the slider was the only way to adjust the power level "precisely."
I would much appreciate it if the smoke-ring bar from level 2-1 didn't disappear later on in the stage. I'm having a tough time getting the timing down after taking breaks from this game. As a result I'm finding some levels more frustrating than fun.
how do i get back to the main menu once i've started the game? there's no key to do it and no way to do it from the level select menu. i can't change the difficulty after i've started playing?
