This game becomes a lot easier once you realize that personal modules, which don't need energy or anything and allow you to hire more units, can be upgraded to turrets for 40 research points. Really helps keep invaders at bay while you focus on other things.
Well I just beat the game on normal. Every level that doesn't have the grenade dudes was beat without losing a single life, though every level WITH those guys took about 5 times to beat each at least. Way too strong compared to the other units you fight. I found that spamming a group of katana units at the beginning of a fight and then using invisible and double damage just before they hit the first wave of enemies won it for me. I'd send in more katana guys, always refresh the invisible and double damage for the front lines, and use slow mafia if a chunk of enemies got by in case they don't attack. Gets really long and boring the last couple of levels, but at least I beat it. Fun game, needs a lot of balance with the difficulty.
Paladin and Warrior combo = easy win. I didn't fall below half health on any of the final bosses, and I never used any of the healing items throughout the whole game. Warrior deals good damage with his magic attacks, and the Paladin simply has the greatest set of skills. Wisdom Aura makes it so you will never run out of mana, his healing and resurrection skills fully heal every time, and his holy attacks end up matching the warrior's damage. Good game, though a bit easy with the right team.
I got both hard badges before I got the medium one. The hardest guy I fought all game was the dude I needed to beat to get into the Young Mages Tournament.
All ya gotta do is fly around the border. The green beams get a bit annoying, but if you get the hang of it, you will get the 100x streak easy. I ended with a 452 streak. :P
Fun game.
One Dimensional Harmony
Dude! You just completed the One Dimensional Harmony achievement in Z-Rox and won the One Dimensional Harmony badge and 30 points!
Hah, I was so scared when the final guy was getting close to my castle.
He never reached it, though. Beat the game without a single scratch on my castle. :P
This game is great.
Just one question. I was looking in the bestiary, and apparently the locksmith boss guy drops some sword. Are there any abilities on the sword I should know about? I fell like I'm missing out on something. I think it's called the keyblade or something. I know you can fight the boss in the arena again, so I could always go get it from him. I was just wondering if I should even put in the effort.
Thank you, hope you enjoyed the rest of the game as well :D
