It's not a perfect fix for the focused attacking but planning ahead and moving your units around in their movement circle makes a huge difference. Charging with warriors to get the mages etc...
Definitely a challenge but so far I haven't found it too bothersome to try a level 2 or 3 times. Really enjoy the graphics :) Spell scroll drops add a bit too variability though. Maybe increase drop rates when someone looses at a certain level to scale the difficulty to anyone's needs?
It would nice if some percentage of xp crossed over to other campaigns, or you get some other reward by beating one campaign for the others. It feels a bit like a chore having to start over again every time.
Great game, especially now that the lag is fixed but next time you release something find someone to spell check for you. The errors hardly ruin the game however it looks better :).

total play time: 9:28 deaths: 48 :D Not bad considering all the comments about people not getting past the first level. Takes a while to get used to the use of focus but other than that the controls seemed fine.
Seems to be a bug with the slow-mo ability -> using it right before returning to the map and selecting a new level causes the enemys to freeze up and sit there till you use the ability again. Might wanna fix that. 5/5 though liked the graphics.. and yay upgrades..
The hell guard poison fog ability isnt actually fog, nor poison. Not sure if its linked to the wrong skill or you just named it horribly. Tornado seems more like it. Liked playing the game though.
Drawing a new card on from the deck just by clicking on an empty slot might speed things up a little. Other than minor details mentioned before its a really fun game.
Yeah, i think next time we will made solar-powered flashlight!
