who would've thought a game with serviceable music, mediocre art, decent writing, simple gameplay could be so interesting. I dub this game pretty good.
Usually waves for other games gradually get harder and this forces you to gradually beef up your defense. I spent around 8 rounds with the same defense with no improvements and it was doing well... great. Then all of a sudden i got a HUGE difficulty spike and the enemy smashed through my defense. I don't think that's a good thing. I don't know it was probably the map or something though maybe add a warning when new enemy units are played.
I don't know if the developer will ever see this but here are some suggestion from my experience playing this game. Allow us to choose our own color instead of a just shuffling for the color you want and give us the option to ban certain units/towers for our custom games, and improve the AI with a difficulty setting. Also I like to keep my resolution on 70 for more focused gameplay but sometimes I can't see the messages from spectators because their text blends into the background. changing the text color or putting a small white background should fix the problem. other than that more free/premium units with some gamemodes would be appreciated.
So let me get this straight. You hire "workers" to press a button in which "paper" is printed in the process all while they get beaten by their "Supervisors" And at night your "Janitors" come in to empty all the trash cans of the supposedly useless "paper" and just leaves. Isn't it also strange how you receive your daily profit report during the janitors shift. I call shenanigans!
I literally just clicked "under judgment" just to see if there were some good games. I found this and I must say this was both boring and buggy. Some background music would have been nice. Better graphics, sound effects, and maybe some more creative levels would have enhanced the experiences. I stopped at level 4 because the game refused to respawn me. I'm not sure if I had a set number of lives that I didn't know of but I'm assuming it's a glitch. Anyway I'm not a developer so I wouldn't know how hard platformers are to make. But if your game fails to entertain then it has ultimately failed as a whole.
"Taking back this city is going to be impossible, but we're prepared to do what it takes to reclaim this place..." So it's impossibly possible? confused...
Oh well even though there is no map editor for the free version at least I know that there will be new maps in time. The game visually looks way better than the original hex empire and also I like how the environment has a greater roll in this game.Though the only thing I wish was in this game is a campaign. You know, something with a story that you can just play through. I would like to know why all these kingdoms hate each other so much. But that's pretty much it and overall it's a pretty good game.
Can't create maps anymore (including selecting customs). some advanced setting have been blocked. can't make matches private. no multiple teams, and ability to restrict people with certain ranks have been blocked. all because I don't have a subscription. Let's see how much it costs. 6.99 for one month - $40 for a permanent subscription. Yeah I protest against the price for features that should have stayed free for those without subscriptions. This is complete garbage.
Thank you for the feedback!
