This game is a 4/5 altogether. The hit detection is a little dodgy, and the difficulty curve goes up faster than the slope of Mount Everest, but I remember on some of the songs I liked doing a big finish wave. It was fun :)
My review on this instead of omg this is great like my last comment: It's a great platformer, that takes a not so dabbled in idea and makes SATANIC levels. (well, not really satanic because the checkpoints are so close together). I do like how some of the sections involve interaction with more than one screen, but those are usually the puzzles that I die on at least five times. :p Overall, it gets a 9, which converted to a scale of 5 is 4.5, which rounded up is 5. Have a nice day!
A FYI for you all, when you place down MJ and let him do his dance, if you CLICK on the icon of another special you can summon him WHILE the dance is going on.
This is great. It's a little to trial - and - errory though, but it's fun, you never know what to expect. The checkpoints are so close together so it makes up for the hardness of the game.
So far, it's meh. A platformer with a level up system. It has a certain charm though, maybe it's that the combat isn't jump on enemy #99999999432352's head.
Kay, serious review here.
Combat is greatly pulled off, it's just combat.
Only complaint I have is Devil's Sunrise can bring P1 to almost full mana in 2 turns, which results in taking apart enemies into about fifteen pieces with Saiken or Legend easily.
