Argh! One hostage left and a single bullet kills me! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! All things aside, it's pretty much Die Hard on the NES: incredibly frustrating, yet somehow fun.
Switched back to the smallest hull with everything else maxed for the hard badge. Had to cut power to the engine in order to survive a couple times, but otherwise a clean run.
Highscore: 65201.7 Gold Cart + 3 Groupies + Propeller Hat. With a good start, hold back to do 1 back flip. While flipping, do a couple up-n-outs and 1 up-n-out flip. When you've completed the flip you should have a multiplier of *4. Now do hang glider. Keep your speed up by tilting your nose down, then back up again. (Experiment to find correct speed of up-downs). You need to get to about 6000 points * 4. Be careful when you get close to the ground, the hang glider will disappear without warning. Be ready to push right arrow.
Made it to level 31 before the max-sized enemies overwhelmed me.

For me, they started showing up as soon as I got above 3M points, then they came pretty regularly.
Great game, one of my favs. It didn't pose as much as a daunting task to me as some people are saying, I though the difficulty level was perfect. Controls are dead on with the exception of the ledge grab, but that is minor.
The one issue I did have with the game is that your character has too large of a hit radius when it comes to the seeking missiles. There were a dozen times when I jumped over the missile only to have it explode beneath me without actually touching my character.
Also, in my opinion, all of the rebound weapons suck. They are weak and never bounce in the direction you want. They just don't work very well.
I just plain don't like this game. It was a good effort, but it's not fun and certainly has no motivation driving the game play. If it weren't for the achievements, I would have played 1 song and quit.
I'm not going to lie, I haven't actually enjoyed a game this much in a long time. I know this is just a "simple" flash game, but it was executed marvelously. Keep up the good work because I can't wait for the sequel.
