If you're looking to raise your score: for each shrine you use it's -150. There's no need to use a shrine before you go to the next level. You're health is restored at the end of each level.
Nice game, but the only thing great about it is the start of an intersting storyline. The gameplay isn't exactly worth paying for. I'd say it'd probably make more money from add revinue.
Seriously, I have no idea how the rifle or the flares help. The one thing that really really did help me was the map in the bunker. As soon as I memorized it the only trick to beating the game was finding my way around the raptors. Great game 5/5
I enjoyed the concept just as much as I enjoyed the puzzles in the game. Let's just say that both of them go far past the five star rating. If players want to complain about the concept of hats disappearing or limbs falling off, well, they'd be better off sticking to chess.
I enjoyed the game play quite a bit. I felt that the ending was cut short, and as a result it didn't really build up well. I did enjoy the middle part of the story the most. I thought that as the story built it really put an emphasis on the action, where as the beginning was more about the story. I would've liked to see the story slow down a bit for the end, but it's really all just water under the bridge. 5/5
Forgive me for just this moment of Realism. Before a nuclear bomb was actually used in WWII the existence of radiation were completely unknown, The nuclear bomb came into existence purely on it's physical destruction, and any thing that the US carries in a military base, is at least one hundred times stronger than what was dropped on Hiroshima. Let me to get to the point: A nuclear bomb would have destroyed the entire existence of the forest itself. Anything within three miles of the bomb drop would be subject to complete melt down. There wouldn't be any aliens left to be subjected to radiation. Still, a good game. Sorry to ruin your plot.
I'm on day 111, and at this point, I'm only really playing to prove that I can get away with successfully playing the game without paying for anything with real cash. Honestly, I'm having a lot of fun with this games regardless of all the handicaps given to those not willing to pay in cash. I can't see myself giving this game anything hire then a single star until the day handicap is raised.
I found this game interesting, considering I play chess on a regular basis (not saying I'm a Grand Master or anything) I enjoyed the similarities your game and chess have. I would've liked to see more structure. It get's a little annoying when the pieces are set up at random. I waste a lot of my time just repositioning my pieces so I'm not trading in my powerful pieces in first. If you get the wrong set up at the beginning, then the easy mode will try to trade off their week pieces for your strong ones. With a bad position this actually makes Easy harder. I'd give it a 5/5! I would've liked to see a knight piece and a little more contrast between the piece shapes. It get's a little frustrating trying to look for a shield and sword.
I'd love to see a story mode! (even though you've already mentioned making one in the description) It would also be amazing to see more complex mazes such as paths that curve and move around. Having separate levels would be useful where each has a separate theme, and boss fights. Worms, Robots and Crazy Scientist.
4/5 I'd give it a five, but I noticed quotes in the battle victory where the author wasn't given credit. After reading most of the descriptive texts I kind of got bored. I can't complain though, the rpg quality isn't solely based on that alone. What was up with the Pixie tits? Not cool.
I loved the game and starting over to go through each ending really wasn't that bad (if the game was longer it would've bugged me a lot more) I thought it was pretty creative giving a title to each screen. The story was interesting and it kept me going. The only thing I would suggest would be harder puzzles. Just as long as they don't leave the player frustrated with wanting to move along with the story. As is I give it a 5/5.
It's a pretty good game and seeing simpler art is nice for a change. The only thing I don't really like about it is the lack of strategy. It would seem a lot more interesting if the visual aspect left clues towards the right decisions, that, and a building plot throughout the whole game (which it kind of already has) Games like these are more interesting for the story than the actual game play. Adding in humor was genius.
