Thank you, thank you, thank you for not being a multiplayer crapfest. I ignored this game everytime it came up on the Kongregate trend lists because I kept assuming the lack of a multiplayer tag as a typo. God I can't even remember the last time Kong put up a game with RPG/War/Strategy tags that wasn't a craptastic multiplayer money grab. Thank you sooooo much for restoring a small measure of my faith in Kong.
I liked the game for about forty mintues but it has no become obvious I will never be able to afford new moves and combo slots. Shame. Until the price of moves and slots comes way down, or rewards for free mode go way up this jut isn't worth the time.
Each boss will give you 5 Chi orbs, and the final boss will give 10 Chi Orbs. Including the 15 Orbs you got at the start, in total you will get more then 60 Chi Orbs, so dont give up and try to beat the boss to gain more chi orbs
So i finally got the fourth companion and there is way too much mal energy in this group. Poor Alyss. It's a total sausage fest. We need more female companions!
Does the various +Gold Buffs apply even if the character who has them does not strike a killing blow? Also, do they apply to gold I find on the map, or just gold from fights?
While we don't want to diminish the value of games based solely on the underlying technology (some great examples of top-notch Flash games are Bloons TD 5, Offspring Fling, The Binding of Isaac, Kingdom Rush, Samorost, etc., many of which are on sale on Steam), we're flattered that you're enjoying the game that much. :-D
How do I collect sand for the guy who wants fiberglass? I Keep going back and digging through the sand but nothing happens. Nothing goes into my inventory and no matter how many times I return to him he just keeps repeating the desire for sand.
Wow. I'm tempted to give you 5/5 JUST because you used a hispanic protagonist and made him a good ol' fashioned badass instead of a janitor or fatso in a sombrero. Seriously, bonus points for not playing to stereotypes with your hero character. Fun game too, but like others said i'd like to see more upgrades, and maybe some plot.
The last wave of Pagras Heroic Challenge is BEYOND demented. It is impossible, even on easy difficulty with maximum possible upgrades. There is no freaking way to pull it off.
I wanted to give it 5 stars. But the upgrades are not retroactive. An upgrade I purchase on stage 9 does not apply when I go back and do stage 1. That blows. So only a 3. Not that it matters I guess with everyone else giving it 5s.
