Is this a direct port of the PC version, or is there new content, or content missing... ? I own the PC version and I'd like to know if I'm better off just replaying that rather than playing on Kongregate.
I'm really digging the card game component. I wish they had trimmed out the platformer entirely and just focused on that aspect. After three levels I got so frustrated with the space bar being tied to the jump key that I just gave up.
You have to find a man by fifty in order to be happy? You increase your happiness through chocolate and diamonds? Bonus outfits include an "in the kitchen" apron and rolling pin? A criteria for "guy of your dreams" is skin color? Wow. I can't say I'm a fan of the messages in this game, even if they were intended to be lighthearted.
I got to 88 deaths on the last level before I gave up. I can't believe this is a featured game... there are so many issues here. Collision detection is infuriating, controls aren't precise enough to justify the platforming levels, there's no mini-map so half of the time jumps are just leaps of faith, and all text is positioned in the same spot (bottom middle), making a lot of messages illegible.
It is 90% same as pc, but it has some new flavor which was demanded by Kongregate users. I had to respect their demands.
