Much better than many CYOA games I've played. Voice acting is a nice feature. The path-affecting choices were a bit lame, as I didn't really see the effects of my actions, and the consequences of certain choices could've been more obvious (i.e. use the ax = kill John, crowbar = kill but slowness dooms wife).
5/5 game overall!
Pretty good gameplay, but mechanics allow the game to be too easily beaten just by selecting the most favorable capital. However, this is counteracted if the player chooses the WORST capital, so it's all good :P
Thing thing 3 arena is basically all the weapons and enemies from thing thing 3 (And some other stuff) thrown into a survival game. You chose your dude, a map, and then kill hordes of various enemies until you die.
Epic game - one of the many pixelated masterpieces out there. Good story, if a bit short, and a few enemy kill sequences were challenging. However, had a few drawn-out parts (such as the elevator to the monstro dude) that were a little annoying. Still an amazing game in all - 5/5!
This is an almost insultingly easy game... when you use all the dynamite. However, use half of what you're given and this becomes enjoyable. 4/5 for good concept and physics.
Note to all: If you bothered to read the developer's note on Newgrounds (doubt you'd really care, though), you'd read that he INTENDED this game to be simple and easy. It's the whole point - make a well laid out game that, for once, his kids could understand and play.
I personally find the game fun, though not on a feverish level. It's a time eater, an enjoyable thing to do while waiting around and bored. The boss really isn't that hard, even without cheating - a surprising few of you noticed that his passes have a set pattern and are easily avoided. I give this game 5/5 - AMAZING interface and graphics, and the whole universe leaves a lot of room for add-ons, sequels, etc.
Needs a speed button. Anyway, I agree with Samslaughtr: American media sucks balls - they're worse than late-night soap operas with their viewer competition! How much more can you pander to the public than by covering Michael Jackson's death for two weeks instead of the world-altering events in N. Korea and the Taliban Offensive in Afghanistan???
Badges are somewhat broken - the "reload game" doesn't exactly work, the first two badges aren't awarded - then again, they take about 5 minutes to do, so it's not a giant deal anyway.
D00mM4r1n3: I agree, and am almost at your level of completion (missing 3 chests and 18 shrooms :P). The boss is pretty easy, though you CAN keep playing after beating the boss once (continue takes you to the entrance of storage, right before you fight the boss). Anyway, I feel this game could become a classic series: I mean, the giant maps, the breathtaking animation, it looks like (by the mission HUD) that this was set up to be an "intro" to a game series of this style.
Can't wait for a (possible) sequel!
Decent game.... BUT WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY FIX THE SPEED/WALL HACKING?!?! God dammit, all that was added were some gay weapons and maps you have to buy an account for!
Ridiculously awesome game. You haters can go sulk in a corner, I love it. And matteo... "Cheater" is an achievement for hovering over the cheat button... almost everything you do is an achievement, the point is to try and find out what they are. Anyway, I give this game 5/5 :D
Okay, I'm deluding that all of you are sadistic psychos... you ENJOY this game? You enjoy ripping off his leg? You want it to go a step further and make him scream as you do things to him!?! Jeez, that's freaking disturbing.
And before someone says "But you played it too!" I got here while looking for another game like this, but which actually is funny and not just sadistic (like interactive buddy - you can pelt him with bowling balls, or play around with a radio and fire hose)
What evil villain DOESN'T have to fight superheros :P
A little long, but fun to play overall. Those who've waited hours to load, your internet hates you >:D
(Side note) Only problem I found is a glitch at the end, it goes to "victory," and that's it. I'm stuck there, I can't quit to menu, I can't find any warp nexii, so I'm stuck on a black/white screen with a blue victory. Good thing it's at least the end :\
