To sell items you must go to the shop which is done by using a teleportation scroll. There is usually one per level, won in battle or found in chests. Once you have enough gold you can buy a teleport device which can be used once per level.
Oh how cuuuute! A furry gloople! here kitty kitty kitty. Hey - ouch -stop that! Bad kitty! GIVE ME BACK MY SPLEEN! OH MOTHER OF GAWD YEEEAAAAGGHHHH.....
You can beat Pandora's box, but don't try it too soon. It really helps to dose each character with all three potions (protection, speed and snake's blood). I just beat a box with three minotaurs, luckily my warrior ended up in the front row after the third shuffle.
@jce123 - you probably know that you can change targeting priority. If you highlight a monster, gems will fire at it no matter how their priority is set.
Anyone know how to get the really high wizard levels? I have maxxed out all fields but that only got me up to 11K. Highest level is 33K per the High Score display. Anyone know how that is done?

@Stealth298: Actually you can avoid the EMP missiles pretty easily. They have a range of 2000. When you hear one being launched, wait about 3 seconds and make a hard turn left or right. If your timing is right, it will not be able to make the turn and hit you. With a little practice, you can avoid them 90% of the time. Thunderbolts are another matter - just do what you can to get out of their range as fast as possible. On the plus side, they are as likely to damage the ship that launched them or another nearby enemy as they are to damage you.
Here's an even better tip: Carry an uber-weapon (photon compression bomb comes to mind). If you encounter any ambush, no matter what type, launch the weapon and collect the bounties and spoils. Hyperspace to a station and re-equip with another big bang.
To kill the turtle, first eliminate the opponent and then start attacking one paw or the other. After a paw 'dies', then attack the head. Beware that there is only a limited time to win the battle. You do seem to get lots of XP for the boss levels.
Always cracks me up when a guy like armor1 comes to the comments and basically announces to everyone that he has no skills or knowledge about the game...
ultimatum - If you lose ten lives then you are done, no reset, no continuing. You have to start a new log-on but at that point you can choose either race.
Never really understood why peeps are so obsessed with multiplayer. Get a plasma relay, launch a few missiles, zap with the relay. One Dead Enemy. Wash, rinse and repeat. Got pretty boring pretty fast.
