I agree with the comments regarding units. I ended up just upgrading my rifleman all the way and then hoarding cash until I got the rocket chopper. I splurged on a tank after that. Once you get the chopper(s) it's way too tempting (as Crippled said) to just decimated everything.
Good concept but poor execution. I like that you get limited bunnies to toss, but there should be a way to get more instead of running out. Maybe with a sequel you could add upgrades that allow you to get more bunnies for each 2500 in score (then step it up - i.e. 2500, 5000, 7500, etc.) and ways to control the flight of the bunnies (short of getting the "super bunny"). Again, good concept and fun game for one play through, but lacks anything (other than the so-so achevies) to get you play again. 3/5
If I wanted Mafia Wars knock offs and "Click here to do a mission...er race" games I'd go through my "Game Requests" on Facebook. I am so sorry that Kongregate got bought out by Gamestop as now it's starting to get far too advertising friendly on here.
The Scars of Mirrodin challenge is far, far too worthless for me to waste time playing this slow, slow, horribly boring game. The AI is just plain stupid, and it's only saving grace is that it starts out with archers. It then will spam them from the get go. I'm so sorry that I even had to play this game for the ten minutes I flushed down the toilet trying to get into it. 1/5
It seems to me that it's impossible to make the moon without hitting gates and fuel, as I have the maximum of everything and I can't quite reach the moon. I always run out of fuel just before it.
Like all dice games, there is luck involved here. However, the CPU's rolls are random, it can get "lucky" just like a human player. That being said, though, the only way to GUARANTEE a truly 'fair' dice game is to play with real dice (which allows for the differences in gravity, wind resistance of the different faces, etc that a bunch of bits and bytes can't factor in).
The satellite level was the one that got me to quit. Not only could I never find it, half of the time a plane would just manifest in the path of my rocket. I'm assuming that's a bug, if not it's bad coding. 2/5
The fact that it's not about killing all the soldiers but hitting an arbitrary score cap is what makes this game a 2/5. The 'par' score should be a bonus, not a requirement.
Reminds me a lot of Amorphus+. In fact, it's nearly identical. I do like that there are "boss" variants of the standard ones, and the ability to upgrade on the fly. Solid game.
I really, really enjoyed this game. I would love to see more from you. I loved the different "masks" and the different artifacts. I loved finding the best 'team' of heroes to get me through the level. Raven Wings, Plate Mail, and Necromancer Robes for the win!
