Great game, although a bit frustrating crafting system - too many repetitive clicks needed to create more advanced items. The crafting UI is the only weakness. Out of my head, I can think of a simple "Back" button, or a tree-like visualization of what's needed for an item. Both would also increase the immersion of creating complicated gadgets out of bare elements. :)
I can't wait for sequels in aquatic and/or aerial environments, as hinted on by the outro (oh yeah, SPOILER ALERT :) ).
Enough with the "retro" graphics trend already! It came, we old farts swooned over the nostalgia, it was cool. But it's getting old now that every third game uses it.
Note to self: ignore any web/flash MMO which advertises itself with a provocatively dressed attractive female. It is a clear sign of the game being rubbish.
My other comment got downvoted into oblivion, but it bears repeating: The. Game. Doesn't. Load. On several different browsers. On several different computers. Even though dozens of other games on kong load and play just fine. I certainly did not expect this from this particular author. And I'm not the only one experiencing this, there are lot of other comments about that around here.
I wonder - will there only be procedurally generated missions, or also some human-created ones from time to time? I liked some of the User Space missions...
Yeah, the music is nice, but after the intro credits ("art by" and "music by"), I only get the empty background image (skyline of a city) and the ominous music. Nothing else. Don't you just love flash?
Great game, congrats, Arkeus.
However, I'd love an option to remove mouse from the control scheme altogether. Just use X for jumping, Z for shooting horizontally, Z+up/down for shooting up/down and Z+up/down+direction to shoot diagonally. It would make the game easier and more playable for me. YMMV. :)
Larry247: Are you serious? You want a reward for failing? That's kind of pathetic. I guess you must like games where skill can be replaced by grinding. Where's the fun in that?
Thirdy, level 4 adventurers start at level 4 and do not go through earlier levels anymore. It is nicely explained ingame as soon as you unlock level 4. Best not click mindlessly through all the text like all the idiots in the world, eh?
Lol. If you want to love something, here is an irrelevant suggestion: http://youtu.be/t-UdhlHbctM
