Yes, this could certainly use its own series. Though the attacks need to be refined a bit (time wheel especially seemed to have its timing all over the place).
There are a handful of minor bugs and glitches, that really don't affect the game much. However, lag can become a significant issue at times, because even a tiny amount of lag can throw off the timing of traps completely, making stages impossible to complete. A simple reset fixes these problems, however, and due to the frequency of checkpoints, this is a minor issue at worst. 4/5
This game ends up requiring an absurd level of precision in the later levels as opposed to being difficult. There is no real difficulty ramp to be found here, just a frustration ramp.
Not as creepy as some of the earlier incarnations, but I definitely liked the weeping angel vibe. It's something you haven't done before. I did find the jump scare to be much too obvious to be effective.
Difficult, but rather enjoyable. I did find that it was sometimes slow to respond to dodging if you were going at full speed. The impossible badge is still quite possible, however.
There are quite a few problems with this game. You can't click off of a box once selected, nor can you use the keyboard to make selections. The basic functionality is fine, but the game needs some refinement. 2/5
Crows make for a great creep factor. They're incredibly smart and have been known to hold generations-long grudges against humans. Great atmosphere, and game 5/5.
For those who are having trouble beating the boss: I was able to do it with the best ships fully maxed. I used quick shots when I could get more hits that way, and aim hull when I couldn't. All my shots were dynamite.
I got the coins upgrade and the freeze trap, then maxed the champion tree. After that I got the knight and berserker upgrade. With everything maxed, spikes, freeze trap x3, spikes, knight, and archer x2 was sufficient for the last level (archers were at the castle).
I like the game, but I think it would be better if more aspects of the game changed overtime. For instance, multiple boss types and cosmetic changes to the character as you level would be nice. After a while, it just seems too repetitive otherwise.
