For words with k and w, try to get the bac prefix. That is the only one I know of where you can get 15 words with the one prefix. For a list, try: http://words-with.com/k-and-w.html
I enjoyed the first one a bit better, but this one had the same feel that I like so much. A very peaceful, enjoyable game, which is exactly what I've come to expect. 5/5
Very nice concept and execution. I do wish the rules change had been smoother. Perhaps it could have been divided into two distinct level packs instead of the rules change just coming in the middle.
Interesting idea. I hadn't really considered breaking it up further as I didn't feel there were enough levels to do so. I'll keep it in mind for future stuff!
This game is great as is, but could use some small improvements. I would like to see the character change as weapons/armor are upgraded, and it would be nice if the dragons could be killed w/o the divine edge. 4.4/5
This game seems to have fixed all the problems I had with the original. There is enough time for setup on higher difficulties, and luck is a much smaller factor than in the original. The equipment and leveling systems are also nice touches. 5/5
I didn't like it as much as part 2. It really didn't resolve quite as much as I was hoping for. However, it does feel as though there is a cogent storyline now. Looking forward to the next installment.
Tips for getting the impossible badge: Before you start the level, find the shortest possible route to the target. If there is more than one, position yourself between them and wait for one to clear. If you can't kill him in 20 seconds, you probably won't get the ultimate achievement, but it's still often worth it to try. Due to the somewhat random guard movements, harder levels may take a lot of tries, but if you map out quick routes and are willing to take some risks, it isn't too bad.
(Until the professional missions anyway.)
To get the hard badge: Fly straight up until you have only two fuel bars left. (Intermittent bursts are better than holding the space bar.) After that, keep your nose pointed slightly up as much as possible, only using thrust if absolutely necessary. You should stay up long enough, especially if you can stall twice before you completely run out of fuel and recover quickly enough. Rate up if this is helpful.
The combat in this game is pathetic. At level 50 the arena is easily beaten, and I only needed my level that high to survive the damage taken until all the enemies start chasing you.
For the hard badge, focus on booster. You need the engine and fuel tanks to reach the necessary height, but the booster is the best way to dodge obstacles. Don't bother upgrading the hull at all, but get the money increase, fuel consumption reduction, and reduced air resistance early. It's relatively easy to afford upgrades after that.
Good, but it was a little obvious that Leigh was a metaphor from the start. Although the fact that it must be made explicit what she is a metaphor for is kind of annoying. It could have been better, but it's not disappointing. 4/5
Alright, I finally figured it out. The speed of the whale is actually tied to your mouse tracking speed. Anyone having trouble maneuvering should lower the tracking speed on their mouse. Please rate up this comment so as to help everyone.
Some people seem to have a very easy time with this game. After I reach max size, I find the controls so unresponsive that I am unable to consistently eat sailors, and thus I die.
An addendum to my previous comment: It is possible to beat regeneration by maxing damage and having high enough mana and health to withstand the barrage as you deal more damage than can be regenerated using the absorb damage skill.
It seems as though the regeneration skill has no cost to it. How am I supposed to win when my opponent regenerates after every attack? I chose the great sea, so my entire strategy is destroying my opponents' mana. If there is no cost to regenerate, I cannot possibly win.
Interesting idea. I hadn't really considered breaking it up further as I didn't feel there were enough levels to do so. I'll keep it in mind for future stuff!
