i think i can trust a 10 years old company more than a small flash game dev... --" and who said i played wakfu? i just know the game, played it before and know how it works, i like their systems but i hate their players and support...
Um... this game isn't in flash.
You haven't actually played this game, have you? Give it a try. You might learn the definition of politically-themed.
And what in the world do you mean by "trust" in that context? What am I asking you to trust me about? 0_o
ohh right, cutting tree that DOESN'T APPEAR AUTOMATICALLY = killing monsters? same for : flowers, wheat,... they don't grow automatically in that game, if there are NO MORE in 1 nation, the gouverner can pay to reintroduce them, the gouverner can make taxes go up to 70% just to bother people or make no laws so that everyone do what they want and make the earth ressources not grow, or make too many laws and no one can do anything then they get bad points and become outlaw so that everyone can go kill them and it becomes a total mess, so yes there is a HUGE political base in the game and they're gonna make big updates about those political system because they're working on the game every day
Well that was an incoherent mess. Again, you are trying to convince people that a tactical RPG is a politically-themed game, despite the fact that it has no political system whatsoever. Having an elected dictator that has powers isn't really a new concept in online games, and it also doesn't make a game politically-themed. Sorry.
Ah, so basic guild-based functions evident in nearly every MMORPG, including Ultima Online? Wow, you're really on a roll. Here's a screenshot of the website for Wakfu that cover the features of the game. The political system isn't even mentioned:

in wakfu they have taxes, it's in game too, the gouvernment can use the taxes to make the nations better, they use to do area events and you can become an outlaw and all that political stuff, so ask before saying things like : "has essentially no in-game function" or other shit ;)
Oh, so it has a criminal/murderer system, just like Ultima Online, widely regarded as the first true MMORPG? And Ultima Online isn't politically-themed, either? And a criminal justice system isn't the same as a political system? The point is this game's own website doesn't even MENTION the political system unless you dig into a "political news" section that's incredibly sparse and indicates little to no in-game function for the system. That is not "politically-themed". In Clout, you play a POLITICIAN who PASSES BILLS in CONGRESS. In Wakfu, you play AN ADVENTURER who KILLS MONSTERS on a TACTICAL GRID. Your claims are absurd. Go play wakfu if you love it so much and stop wasting my time.
Well, my grandma is older than Wakfu... so there! (Hint: being older doesn't really matter since Wakfu is not a politically-themed game, but is a grid-based fantasy tactical RPG, just as my grandmother is an elderly woman and is thus quite dissimilar from Wakfu.)
"The word politics is not mentioned once. looks like my facts are pretty straight." example : http://www.wakfu.com/en/mmorpg/community/politics-news/gouvernor-gouvernment?s=nox&n=31 try this.. see if there's no politics involved, you think you know wakfu better than a guy that waited 2 years for it to go in "closed beta" then it was in open beta 3 years... come on... stop read wiki or get into the details....
Actually I've never heard of Wakfu, so clearly you know it better. What you don't seem to know is the definition of "Politically-Themed". Wakfu is a tactical RPG that uses turn-based 2D grid combat. Your link also just dumps me to the wakfu main page... which again, says absolutely nothing about politics. After some digging, it appears that nations elect some governor that has essentially no in-game function. There are many MMORPGs that showcase a more extensive political system than Wakfu, actually, and they still aren't anywhere near politically-themed. Shadowbane, for instance. Hell, you could even levy taxes in towns in UO once they added the faction expansion for Felucca, which seems more impactful than anything political in Wakfu.
"Clout: The Game
Play the first-ever politically-themed MMORPG: Clout!"
what a big lie xD there's a HUGE "political" game called Wakfu, and it's older than this game please get info before saying fake things ;)
"WAKFU is a French global cross-media brand by Ankama Games revolving around an online tactical turn-based MMORPG.[3] In addition to the online game, elements consist of an Xbox Live Arcade Game (Islands of WAKFU), an animated television series (WAKFU), comics/manga, a trading card game, action figures, and more."
The word politics is not mentioned once. looks like my facts are pretty straight.
people don't know about Terraria? --" (not that i like it) but it's SAME THING, a 2D minecraft but made by real professionals (= getting money for it) but ohh well just saying but i don't like anything like this so nvm
Terraria came out at around the same time as Minecraft too - so it's totally unique.
For anyone else who reads this reply, I advice you to try both Minecraft and Terraria. No one is better than the other, honestly. It's entirely opinion. :)
There spicyhorse i put 4/5 it's how i feel about the game because i know there is some developpement to do, and i guess you know this too ^w^ it went to 4.17 it was at 4.16, good luck for the next updates!! :D
