Skeptical at 1st as the grind looked pretty bad and ads "annoying" as some said, I decided to push more into it. And you know what ? This game, if you put time into it turns out to be as good as the others !!! Don't let the seemingly long time to get gold or ads pull you away from this game. The people that made it do need to get some money for their work ( thus the ads ) and the prices on stuff makes it sure you won't finish it in an hour or 2. All in all it's a very good deal for such a quality game, very worthy follow-up with similar humor and funny new characters. changed my rating from 4/5 to 5/5. Excellent work once you passed the initial "grind" and bought a few upgrades !!!!
I think the idea to change things up a bit was good. Whitout the screen shaking, would be even better. Maybe for a sequel add even more upgrades/waves. Even if cosmetic ( like changing ship color/beam color ), you could make this with much more waves being incremental in hp. And yes, as many other comments, lighting rod should be tweaked to use MUCH more energy, forcing us to move around. Overall, still enjoyable but very short lived..4/5
Just discovered this game and i'm hooked. This is probably best card game I have played in a long, long time. Really wish it could be worked on more ( extended campaigns + some for other heros ). It's very easy to pick, hard to master , and I rally enjoy the random format of tournaments. 5 stars all the way, would put 6 with added content, lol
Wondering why this game has no comment. This is a amazing addition to the already good Decision series. I still don't really think the controls are 100% "tight". Small delay between button press, nothing dramatic and could be my net connection/comp, but stops me anyway from giving full score. The graphics and overall music and ambience are still very well done. Wished a way for true fullscreen would exist. Else.. Upgrade system is cool, diversity of missions, sub-missions. 4.5/5. A must play for any fans of the other Decision games or any action lovers really wanting to feel more "into" the game then pressing buttons and/or waiting on things to grow..
Cardinal Quest 1 was already awesome, and by total surprise you make a even better sequel ?? One of the best Rogue-Like games on Kongregate, not easy, but addictive and fun, as any game should be. 5/5

A lot of work has to be done, and good thing u said atwork aint yours, as it,s Konami's, from the Castlevania series. If you build a solid game with original sprites and content around it though, you will get people's attention. if you keep same sprites, better rename it "Castlevania remake" or something...

I like the style and evolution of cards/fusion. But, is it just a demo, have not found a way to get a certain currency and stuck at level 19 making it feel like a demo. If a way, even small exists for those to continue whitout having to pay ( cause they cant for whatever reason) will get a solid 4.5.. Till then..3/5..
We heard your complain and updated the game: Now you just need to have 3 Stars in all the levels to play for free forever. It’s a bit challenging, but at least you are not compelled to pay. We hope you will be happier and give the game another try (maybe give us a better review?).
Fun game. Addictive, nice little back story. Moral of the story ? Don't mess with someone who has the means to build a boat capable of taking down a whole fleet :P 5/5
Pretty addictive I must say once u get the hang of it :) 1st comment and a solid 4/5 for a unique twist on a match 3, that makes u think a little more then usual ones. Nice job :)
Very very good quick card game. Addictive, hard to put down unless u run out of energy, else would play all day/night. More heroes and maybe a way to buy energy with the in-game currency ? Still give 5/5.
