Are enemies supposed to walk through garrisoned walls? I doubt it. If I build a maze of occupied walls, the enemy walks right over it, or through it. Meanwhile, my guys shoot them while they leisurely walk by.
Can't help but Lol at how people think this is racist. They're smiley faces. They're yellow, the classic color for a smiley, and purple/brown, the color of a corpse, like they're undead mutant robots. This isn't in any way racist - they had to be some colors, they may as well be on opposite sides of the color wheel and be easy to distinguish. Racism will always be around as long as idiots see things as racist when it's just their own mindset haunting them.
Popo's AI is bugged. There were no enemies around, I made sure of it, and I had everyone on Fall Back. He alone progressed halfway across the map, and then stopped. No commands were issued, he simply walked out for no reason.
LOLGfNoOB - the issue is that badges could be placed on games that deserve it, not the ones that pay Kongregate. Time would be better spent on a game that everyone likes, not a game that bribes. Most of these MMOs aren't ever on the front page, and even front-page-ers don't always get badges.
*sigh* If you're having issues on the last boss on Hard because your weapon is too slow, there's another trick. The boss can't hit you if you quickly switch to his opposite side. Hit him while moving forward, then go around him and his mace will miss. If he uses the flamethrower, even better - you can hit his back a time or two. Then, go around the top and do it again. Meanwhile, use the normal strategy of bide/rage/heal, and with quick movements you can get in enough damage to avoid having .05% of his life left when there are no items remaining.
I find the last boss on Hard ridiculous if you don't have the right weapon. I'm using the 30 Attack, slow, 2s slow sword (namely Frostmourne) and even fighting at 99% perfection, I can't manage to do enough damage. There's no lenience on that boss, no ammo to pick up if you have little. The boss should be killable (though on Hard difficulty, this seems impossible) but also a challenge. This isn't even a challenge any more - it's just slaughter.
Just finished this chapter, and while I can't say I was impressed, or very amused, I accept that it was "round 1" of this little galactic battle. I'll continue at Chapter 2 and, hopefully, this will get significantly better. I played a bit of 2 before and had no idea what I was doing, because it had just come out, and now I think I'll have a better feel for it. Don't hate me for this, but 3/5. As a Chapter 1, it is alright, but given that it was given an entire qualification of "game" and badges, I can't go higher. I bet that the others will deserve a 5/5, however.
The first kid on your truck is under it. It's hard to see, and even harder to shoot. Fire straight up, or slightly to the right. Its a stupid place to put them, seeing as most weapons can't hit them.
I'm somewhat unsurprised by the fact that people already dislike this game. Perhaps one was enough, or even too much. The first game was horrible, but people seem to like this even less. That's quite the feat you have there.
If you fail to complete a "Normal Quest" then all the others disappear. I had 3 Normal Quests I could do, and when I found I could not beat the one I was on, and quit, all the rest disappeared. Kind of irritating not being able to do a quest again, to come back later.
Not really sure about the maze yet. After the termite burrows through the egg room's wall, you click it all the way to the hole, it goes in, and then nothing. You can't go in the hole.
I'd really appreciate a scene jumper. I thought that "Teaming Up" would mean that he helps donate to the poor, not I join him and be merry while she cleans up.
