Honestly, it's too difficult to do anything as intended. Everything is just thrown around at the slightest touch of a gravity well. No planets seem to choose to fly wherever the hell they want, despite using the well to slow them down or change direction. (They are affected when I don't want them to, but aren't when they need to be?)
Stats are currently 40 Speed, 30 Life (waste), 60 Sight and 110 Land (Also a waste). For some reason, after 30 or so land spaces, the resources keep spawning. Many times per second. Randomly. Each person only has to go the first resource and walk back - before the next arrives, the resource will respawn, it's instantaneous. Having more than 50 Land or so is a waste. Sight and Speed is all that's really needed, it needs some serious balancing or something.
I got 24/25 of the upgrade points on my first attempt at Normal. I now have 7 more than I would ever need - perhaps a good way would be to have multiple levels of the upgrades, so have 3-5 bronze stars for each stat, then 3-5 silver, then 3-5 gold. This way there would be a little more to do after upgrading everything to the max... after one map.
A hint for the small holes - go toward the launch pad from the side closest to the previous hole very slowly. If you're on the first hole, simply go along the path slowly. I found this was the easiest method.----------Also, I'll have to go with 3/5 for this. It needs many more levels and a bit of polishing.
Just when I thought there were enough Rattata messing up my travels in Pokemon... now there's one that spits red dots at my beloved targets. One more way Rattata are out to ruin me =\
5/5. 1 point for Nerdook, 1 point for being evil, 1 point for saying what I type, 1 point for the game itself, and finally, 1 point for the Portal references. Awesome.
Sorry for another post, but has anyone else just sat there after you get the "heart of gold?" I now have a timer reading 0-4:0-20 (-4 minutes, -20 seconds) and it continues to drop. Is there not an ending for running out of time?
Also, after losing later in the game (I generally stopped being interested) and trying on Impossible, my money amount never reads over or under 200, making me unable to know how much I actually have. Unless that's somehow part of the "Impossible" features, it screams Glitch.
Automatic homing on towers (that aren't similar to the Cannon towers or Missile towers of other games) is a must. Prices on towers before buying them, as well. I've also found that a combination of slow towers and a hugely upgraded main gun can take care of most of the rabble without any issue, making most of the other towers pretty forgettable.
Wesone, they usually give a larger amount upon reaching a customer milestone [5 stars bronze, 10 stars silver for the badge, 15 stars for gold (haven't gotten there, guessing)] I get around 9 dollars when they get to bronze, so going down to 7 with a bunch of 80%s would be expected. 1.88 for 99% and 100% however is not, expect 2.94 or 2.88.
