Aha! Most of this game is a reskinned Flash Element TD. Same towers, same tooltips, even the wood (tree) in the top for purchasing elements, but there's no elements in this so the idiot just didn't take it out.
Stolen. Original developer is SeethingSwarm, called NINJA on ArmorGames. This loser changed the name and removed the evidence of ownership in the opening sequence.
Glad to see that my 'grinding the previous level 10 times' comment has more merit now that the game has more plays. It's really imbalanced, sometimes nigh impossible.
It's incredibly irritating seeing a wave of monsters you can't help to match at certain points. While defending Tiris, the second crystal map, I have to rely on my Swordsman to hold back the large amount of land enemies, as Archers aren't nearly enough, while Ochre Osiris just fly over because my Archers aren't able to kill 8 of them fast enough. Unless there's more strategy involved and I'm not aware of some form of combo, it feels incredibly imbalanced. I don't want to grind a level 10 times to get the resources needed to beat the following map.
Heya, there is definitely lots of strategy involved for the later map. And no, you don't need to grind 10 times to win Tiris, if you care for a walkthrough you can find it here (WARNING:CONTAINS SPOILER) :

And this is not the only strategy for tiris, there are just so many combination and placement possibilities for each map.
People believed that the other game that gdrj uploaded was stolen - if you look at the comments, even on the sponsored site, gdrj was the original uploader. This is most likely the case here too, but I don't care to do research right now (lol)
For some reason, Hank was downed inside his building, and now I can't revive him. I can't leave the building, and occasionally another massive wave comes through the ceiling, preventing me from saving him even further.
Good game, but buggy. I tried to recruit the unique Mage, but I didn't have enough at the time to hire him. As a result, I can never get him again, and searching Mountains bugs the game (causing mouse delays, make it jump around) and does not show progress when searching Mountains. Likewise, I can't get the unique Cleric at all. 3/5 until bugs are fixed, unless it's my misunderstanding.
"Sniper gun!" Is anyone else bothered by the fact it's not Sniper Rifle? Anyway, as a suggestion for future sequels or updates, an upgrade to the Machete could start with Criticals or increased range, up to going from Gun to Chainsaw for X uses and then revert to Machete. Somewhat similar to those Reload criticals that Gears of War and others have, where instead of regular bullets (Machete) you get several improved ones (Chainsaw).
Very repetitive, feels extremely generic. The achievements are pretty bad given how easy the game is to beat, such as 500 cash pickups total. That's five times what I got in beating the entire thing. Then there's no cash/energy, and you can't see it coming around a turn half the time. Throw in a bugged one like Singlekill 6 (why 6 when you only break 3 enemies?) where you can't see more than two baddies... overall, 2/5 from me.
Pretty laggy for no reason, and I've had multiple instances where a large amount of humans appear AS THE FIVE SECOND COUNTDOWN STARTS. If I need to get 17 pints of blood, and every human so far only yields 14 or so, it makes the level impossible.
@Jonny0panic, that's not your HP, it's your lives. If you got all your lives back each time you upgraded your ship, it would be pointless. You get one life back by upgrading your ship. Don't downrate a good game simply because you couldn't beat it.
No matter how fast you go, the laser is always just a bit behind you. When you get to potentially impossible situations, the added stress from the suddenly-faster laser doesn't help with figuring out how to fix an unforeseeable problem.
@sergito, DanKrieger might have used all the hours for searching for guns, and 1 search party member still died, whereas the main character is the only searcher. Otherwise, no survivors were found and one still somehow died. (You can also find 1 member and that one dies, leaving you with +0 survivors)
