Extremely slow paced, and tactics aren't present at all. Build Snipers and it's GG. Also, when you sell a tower, you get half the original price, not the grand total or even the upgrade cost. A maxed Sniper costs 800 to make and only 50 is returned on selling.
I don't see what the big deal is about the controls. Perhaps I'm missing something, as I've only gone through a dozen levels. I can't say I have an issue with it. It's an alright game, but I can only go as high as 3/5 thus far.
Shiyiya - The game as it is is nearly perfectly balanced. If you're having trouble, you can grind Infamy by replaying earlier levels, specifically ones that you have yet to achieve Gold on. Getting Gold gives you an infamy bonus. Get enough Infamy to unlock the two secrets for bonus Infamy. If you think it's unplayable, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
It'd be nice to have upgrades increase a little more as you upgrade them. For example, Golem's Shield going from 20 to 22 to 25 to 29 to 34 and finally 40%. This would be a pain to rebalance, however.
*sorry for double post* Monster arms would destroy buildings as you move through, so something with active destruction, as opposed to Monster arm's constant destruction, would be better. Chicken mouth or Bug tail would be best.
@dragor480, use Poison Cloud to kill stuff that spawns behind you. Otherwise, use bug stuff and keep something that can destroy buildings (Chicken mouth, Monster arms, etc)
Well, that was a fun 10 minutes. I never even threw a bomb, actually. I used Gun Spawn to beat the final boss. Starting with a shotgun that can blast the boss off the map in a single shot really helps.
The star on level 5 is hidden inside one of the weird tube plant things. Break off the end of it, the star is there. As for the glowworm, intentionally scare it out of the way, it'll come back out. You work out the rest =3
It's a shame that the BotD is one for such a broken game. CF2 has been left behind for a while, and won't really see any improvements. As others have said, the Hard badge is just faulty. Suicides don't count as kills, a single explosion from something undodgeable, or simply bad programming can ruin an otherwise decent Survival matchup. AIs can accurately hit you no matter how high or far you are, and usually with extremely overpowered weapons that shoot you three times the distance you can jump off the stage. The Survival part of this game, at the very least, is broken.
I get to the two blue laser things and the horizontal one before I have to stop. If you don't go at it at the right time, there's no way to sneak by in the right time frame. Even if you have the right time frame, the delay for ducking seems to ruin it.
I was able to jump up and over the map, run off the area outside the view... I fell to the bottom, it went black, and I was forced to start over. I was REALLY hoping for a Mario Warp Zone! You'll get 5/5 from me if you make a Mario Warp Zone like that.
26 deaths here. I had gotten Pole Vault without any deaths... and hit the Windows key halfway there. Fell to my doom. Lost 8 more lives trying to do it again. Bah.
In the last level, when it says 13 ships on the horizon, I expect 13. Not 2 more every time I defeat the last two simply because I can't beat the final boss fast enough. I went through 10 of those in the first 7k life of the boss. I beat the 12 small enemies and I'm on the thirteenth, I don't want to fight 12 more surprise enemies.
Huh, the picture on the side shows the bottle as "H2O" and the ones on the right when you get them show "Water" and then when you throw them, they're H2O again. Yes, I'm aware that H2O and Water are the same thing, but my point is that the image changes multiple times.
I can understand if people didn't like the spoilers in my comment, but seriously guys, their 'secret identity' is in their well-known name. Didn't these people have a name somewhere else? Can you imagine if Hoomane was *gasp* a human? The character's names are just bad. Still, the game gets a 5/5 from me.
