Great game. I love the beauty and simplicity of the design, however, I think therein lies its biggest fault. You usually only have 1 way to go. There is only 1 possible option at every stage of the game.
If the design were complex enough to enable players to actually run into dead-ends or make mistakes, you would really be making this a true puzzle game. Right now you are just toying with a couple of mouse clicks to find the right solution, which is by the way, the only available solution. Nevertheless, awesome effort.
Once you find the patterns that work (S shape in a Net for example: each number at the end of the S must add to seven), the game's challenge is almost lost. Very good concept. We need to think of a little twist to add to it so that the game can become truly and lastingly challenging.
I recommending adding a Kill Count to the towers you build. This way you can really know if they are being helpful or not and strategize accordingly.

Great game! If you ever plan on making a sequel, I would recommed you start really small, eating microbes and such, like a Spore kind of thing, and then grow up to this size. This way you will have different enemies alongside your evolution, which will make the game much more enjoyable, ever more than it already is.
Haha YES, don't forget to mix in a little Sokoban in there too :)
