If a box has a number in it, that's how many keys are in that room. And that room with almost all black? That's a hole in the bottom. It's not a chest.
Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble killing their ship on purpose after getting most of the upgrades? Seriously, the body refuses to die, it decides that it would rather stop moving instead.
My suspicion is that it was originally green, someone color-blind pointed out the issues with this (what's lava and what's mud?), and then the text wasn't changed.
The yellow numbers are kinda hard to read, and the instruction screen is somewhat cluttered. But once you know what to do, it's pretty fun. (It's dragging from a colored number to an identical colored number, with the length of the path equal to the numbers you're connecting)
For 500 points badge: I recommend 3rd speedy level. Large amount of revealers, decent amount of weapons, no bullshit wolves. You do have to be somewhat quick, but once you get to the end you can unload any weapons you have + go back to parts of the puzzle you skipped.
eraser messes with level balance: then you no longer have to worry about making sure you don't block off the paths you want. Fast forward on the other hand is a perfectly legitimate complaint.
@jc2000 that's because if you don't let it do that, you won't have a save file...it's why some games recommend unlimited storage space, that way no saves get overwritten
Badge isn't working for me. I've left it paused in the middle of wave 33 for 10 minutes and my best level so far is still only 16. Also, here's a troll strategy I haven't tried yet, but might work. When you pause the game, although you can't see it the current wave bar moves to the next wave. So pause game, go do something for a while. Then unpause and pause quickly. Your current wave will go up by 1, and the enemies will have moved about, what, 1 cm? Rinse and repeat. Don't blame me if you don't get the badge though.
Reposting this comment because it's buried somewhat deep: Don't bother going for 100% on 14 in 2 slice, it's not worth it. On 7, use 1st cut to cut the white block to make the gap like normal. 2nd cut from bottom left corner of left block to bottom right corner of right block. Wait a minute to make sure the blocks are both moving towards the middle, then go do something else for ~5 minutes. When you come back you should have 100%.
Insane starts harder, but doesn't ramp up in difficulty that much. Original starts easy, suddenly spikes up to evil difficulty, and then slogs you with a marathon of levels.
We get it, you have discovered an interesting gimmick. Now please stop putting 4 rooms of this gimmick in a row, only with progressively harder enemies.
Game difficulty is all over the place, and a lot of the controls are shoddy. In defense though, it was made in 2007, where standards were lower. Still manages to be somewhat addictive despite how annoying some of the games are
