Finally beat challenge 15. I had 1 left left, but 11 arcane, and managed to play Dark Young Charge. Officially the most frustrating impossible badge I've tried to earn yet (due to the extreme luck factor), but I finally got it.
Overall, the game itself was kinda fun, but some of the challenges were rather insane.
Probably my favorite game of the series so far. Having two completely different paths was a nice touch, as opposed to just redoing the last scene multiple times.
An interesting little game. Not too exciting, but then again I usually don't play scavenger hunt games. The boss battle was a bit frustrating at first, but rather simple if you can get the timing right. Some of the mushrooms were pretty hard to find, but thats part of the challenge :)
An interesting reversal of roles compared to the previous pandemic games. However, I agree with everyone else who has suggested the addition of a button to speed up gameplay (similar to how we had the option to do that in Pandemic 2)
While completely different from the previous 2, this is a great addition to the Epic War series. The gameplay is easy to get used to (once you remember to equip your cards), and it allows for a lot more varied strategies. After beating the game 3 or 4 times, I switched to a completely different strategy for the remaining heroes.
Nothing really special happens if you complete a level on all ten modes. All of the blue icon surrounding the level icon will be lit, as well as a yellow icon at the bottom for the Beyond Corruption mode.
Levels 4 and 6 (as well as others that you can't see right away) are hidden levels. To unlock the hidden levels in a certain section, beat all of the levels before that section's Arcane Guardian on Heroic mode.
3rd person to achieve all 3 badges. I'm slightly disapointed that there's no badge for doing anything beyond the last level, but I guess that could get too extreme (I'm still going to try to beat all levels on all modes anyway). Am I crazy for thinking that the 'This is the Game that Never Ends' badge wasn't that much of an extreme endurance badge? (Also, why is it level 77, when the Gem of Eternity level is level 78?) Oh well. I guess I should probably go outside now...
Pretty good game. Very challenging at some parts. I agree with other people who mentioned this, some parts of the movies did remind me of Firefly. I also liked the music in the opening and closing movies - who composed it?
A little more frustrating than some of Zeebarf's other games, due to the nature of having to play through the entire game again if you mess up instead of just replaying the last scene, but it makes sense in context.
It a nutshell, this is Gemcraft, but with 10x as much awesome. Its more challenging than the original, and with a lot more options (with all of the different modes for each level, I think there's 726 total levels).
