Highest I could get was 29,842. I went directly to the outer shield ships (yellow) and stayed in front of them. This brought all their fighters directly behind, so easy kills. Did 1 shield upgrade, then all gun upgrades. Had to do 2 engine upgrades towards the end.
This game blows. All on luck. Whenever the comp gets insanity it's always some non-debuff. I always get the one that limits me to 2 cards. Always. Finally beat the second round, to the tune of 94 points. I've done well in other card-type games, this one is just missing something that makes it unreasonable to play.
