Pro tip: To get the Ace achievements easily, do the first horizontal race and turn upwards once you complete it. No fuel pickups or boosts, but no obstacles either. A good rocket should take you well into space before it runs out of fuel.
I played the game the way it was supposed to be played and loved it. Unfortunately, after that I attempted to play it with 0 strategy and 0 upgrades. Easily won. Perhaps some consideration for faster typers...
Easy mode was the hardest. Seriously, the other two modes had spells that made level 4 much easier, and easy did not. Something is amiss. But otherwise, awesome use of the Sudarto Game Engine.
Been returning to this game for a while now as I wait for more good strategy games to surface here. Does anyone else see any reason to use the a cannon besides the puckle gun? The other ones just don't seem to do much after a few waves.
Finally got all the hats. Crazy awesome game. Only problem was that certain hats were so powerful that I would use them almost exclusively. For bosses, omnistrike was unstoppable and took 0 skill. And for levels, well, basically there was no reason not use thief with the pendant. But these are minor. So much fun.
