99 Problems Badge
You acquired this badge on Dec. 03, 2012.
Awwwwww YEAH!
First game and I got a drive of 26. I have never played the game before, but I can already tell by now that you just need to think logical and hope for the best cards o.O Also, I still don't know how to achieve good scores. Just went for the badge xD
I thought the game was entertaining, but I agree that there should be more of a challenge in figuring out what to do, than actually doing it. Though, usually I only had to do with a few retries - wasn't like I kept doing the same levels over and over again :s
Upon completion, being the anime fan I am, I couldn't help feel like I just unlocked an equally awesome story myself, like the ones I'm used to watching. Also, the author seems to have some relation to anime, since the sister's name (of whom, I forgot) was Neesan (Nee-san is Japanese for sister) - hardly a coincidence? :)
Also, as said before me - on the last level, it is easier getting the trigger from downwards, exiting that way as well. That way, you won't have to deal with the screen switching thing.
ITT: People who failed to complete the badge, then whines about it, posting comments like "sheesh, too bad I rate 1/5". I did this over and over again, and was finally rewarded when I figured out which way was the easiest and how to time it.
Do so yourself too, instead of suddenly changing you mind - stop rating 1/5 instead of the 3+ it deserves, just because you are butthurt.
@joshua1456 Though, I will agree with him that this badge is certainly a badge of endurance - not skill. I feel like I've been powergaming this MMO the last two days and I'm almost there, but considering the amount of time spent, I could've earned more than 200 points if I spent the same time on other games. So i guess, for badge-hunters, this is certainly not as rewarding as you'd want for such a time-consuming badge :)
I understand why some people feel frustrated when you go ahead and lose, even though you've been playing the best play throughout a match. Sometimes the CPU gets insanely lucky - but trust me, if you keep on playing, you'll be that lucky as well at some point too!
I enjoyed it. I agree with the people saying that there are flaws. but over-all I had fun.
Hint: You get a 10.000 gold reward upon completion - gathering the 52 different cards is therefore easier if you buy the rare packs after completion.
It's possible to get +75% on level 7 in 2-slice mode. The trick is to cut the white and the left upper red square in the first cut (Cut both at the same time), then get as much from the upper right red square afterwards.
When the boss has no lives left, I found it hard to dodge all the balls and the bullets in comparison to the "boss fight", where you could just circle him while shooting untill he died.
Loved all the perverted jokes :P
Though, as always with these games, there are times when you think "How is that logical?". For example when using the Electric Eel on the bacteria? Too far fetched idea - took forever to figure out.
That freaking took forever! I got the boss down, giving him a rainbow in the process, but I got lucky and got Rage+ and special attack in the same turn, just after landing at 2 hp, which was just after being saved by shield twice xD
1.Take the Redzilla. 2. Evenly get Power and Agility up, and go for "Berserker" first and "Mage" afterwards (by the time you have "Berserker" finished, you won't need anymore Power/Agility). 3. Get monster "spoiled". 4. Whenever possible you go for the trainer-duels. 5. If there are no trainer duels, go for a cup instead. 6. If no cup, then skip week. (Saves time) 7. When inventory is full, you take 1 round of training, using all items (except "disciplinary items"). 8. Once in a while, you buy 10 x a "+2" item, use them all in the "in-training item" and then repeat until you have no money left. 9. Take the advancing cups when possible. 10. Win.
Pro tip: For the 1000 velocity on HARD --> Change mouse speed to high! It will help you a lot, even though it gets harder to handle the mouse. You need to lessen the movement of your hand and use small movements instead!
